Onslow Animal Hospital Reviews
Words cannot express how grateful I am for the amazing staff here. My mom called me, very stressed as her and her boyfriend’s dog was feeling lethargic as she was in heat. Turns out she was suffering with pyometra. Dr. Sheegog, Kristin and the staff here saw her (even though she’s never been here before!), did an exam, and preformed the emergency surgery. They literally saved her life!!! My family is forever grateful. They were so kind and helpful all along the way and they deserve more than a 5 star review for that. My family and Hope thanks you! :)
Feb 12, 2025 · Sky TOnslow Animal Hospital deserves every one of its five star reviews. When my senior dog Dex went into acute respiratory distress and showed symptoms of worsening congestive heart failure, our longtime clinic couldn’t see us for nearly a week—despite our history and how rapidly he was declining. In a panic, I called Onslow, and within 90 minutes they had us in a private room. From the moment we arrived, the front‑desk team was compassionate and went out of their way to connect me with Dr. K. He took extra time to explain Dex’s condition, placed a catheter, and let me stay by my boy’s side throughout his final moments. They didn’t rush us, and sent us home with a little fur keepsake I've had in my pocket every day. They mailed a sympathy card with Dex's paw prints, and his ashes were ready within a week—small touches that meant the world. If you need a practice that combines true emergency responsiveness, genuine empathy, and top‑notch veterinary care, Onslow Animal Hospital is it. Their TLC made the hardest thing I've ever done just a little more bearable.

Mar 20, 2025 · James TaymanThey’re a bit expensive and money hungry. You make an appointment for one thing and they offer you a billion other things then make you feel like a bad pet owner if you turn it down because you don’t want to spend $500+ for an annual check up on your perfectly healthy dog. But they got us in the same day so I’ll give them that.
Jul 20, 2025 · Deja ElizabethOnslow animal hospital did everything they could to save my sweet baby. I appreciate them trying and being so compassionate when she passed. They didn't rush us with our goodbyes and the receptionist even gave me a hug which was super sweet. Thank you for making one of the hardest days of my life a little easier.
