I have been using Dr. Rufus for over 35 years. He is very thorough and they have great hours, if you contact the office during nonworking hours, they will get back to you. This demonstrates a very dedicated that service. I extremely recommend Colonial animal veterinarian hospital. Also the pricing of their services are very reasonable.
Feb 07, 2025 · bonnie disalvoDr. Rufus has lovingly cared for my cats for many years, with expertise and compassion, helping them to lead long, healthy lives. Unlike some other vet offices where you get a voicemail message and need to wait and hope for a call back, it is easy to make appointments at CAH and talk with a live person, Bob, who knows the names and personalities of all the companion animals that visit. It’s a warm, welcoming environment. Importantly, the medical care for my BFF, best furry friend, is outstanding. Dr. Rufus has earned my trust because of his vast experience, knowledge and genuine caring. I highly recommend Colonial Animal Hospital.
Jan 12, 2024 · Carol ForteOver the past 40+ years my experiences with Dr. Rufus has been phenomenal. His expertise is of the highest standard of care and surpassed only by his love for animals. Dr. Rufus and Bob have been an integral part of ensuring that our dogs are healthy. They were extraordinarily attentive with lots of follow up when our dog had a serious accident and had a poor prognosis. Because of their care our dog had a full recovery. I can't imagine taking our dogs to a different vet.
Jul 13, 2024 · Cheryl OlsenDr. Rufus has been caring for my family’s pets for over 30 years! He and his vet tech Bob are among the best. Kind and compassionate no matter the issue. There are not many solo practitioners anymore and they truly treat your pet as their own! No upselling here, no bells and whistles, just down to earth solid vet care.
Jul 28, 2024 · Lisa DennisDr.Rufus at Colonial was recommended to me by a very close friend, who has put his trust in Dr. Rufus for over 20 years. This was one of the best references I could have gotten. I was referred to him for a Cyst removal surgery that was continuing to grow on my 12-year-old dog. The consultation and care was exceptional.I can't say enough great things about the care. I highly recommend them, for their excellent care and genuine love and understanding for animals.
