★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We absolutely love Compassion Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Havemann and the staff members are very friendly, attentive, and caring. Hands down the best vet we have ever gone to. They have been working with my fur baby, Arrow, in getting to the root cause of his issues unlike other vets I’ve gone to where they just slap a prescription and call it a day. Arrow also loves the attention he gets when he’s in for an appointment. They treat him like their own. We will continue to come here for our fur baby’s needs for as long as we can!
June 20 · Brenda DuongWe began going to Compassion approx 6 months ago because my dog was injured and they happened to be open late…. It was a blessing in disguise.1) it was a minor injury. Possibly a bee sting2) it introduced us to Dr Haveman and the staff at CompassionThe staff is amazing. They are all so nice and we know them all by name. Dr Haveman is the best. She always takes her time to answer the 30,000 questions my wife has, and she genuinely cares. There are a few little things they do that I think makes a big difference as well. 1) their next day phone call checkups are such a nice touch! 2) I love the little things like them having our dogs name on the board as you walk in. (Even though my dog can’t read English very well. He’s mostly fluent in dog). And 3) they have cold sodas in the fridge! I know it seems minor, but when so many place skimp on customer service, I think it’s great! We don’t just feel like a number here. As a healthcare provider myself, sometimes places become an assembly line and you kind of lose the fact that everyone is a person (or in this case, a dog).I recommend everyone bring their pet here! They’re so awesome!Thank you for being so great to us!Jason, Kristy, and Corey Taylor
April 24 · Jason and Kristy HallBetween my parents, son, and myself, we take three dogs to Compassion regularly and love the service there! The staff genuinely care about the animals, are very friendly, and always follow up on care. Our dogs have all three had the usual exams and vaccines, but my dog has also had eye surgery and treated for a hurt paw. My parent's dog has her arthritis managed and my son's dog is being treated for skin allergies. We are at the vet at least once a month for something. I love how up front Compassion is with pricing and the wellness plan options!I only wish we could get a written prescription to have filled other places than the supplier for the vet as this particular supplier seems to have much more expensive prices than Chewy or just taking the Rx to Walmart. Due to this, I have my dog's dry eyes managed at a specialist in Austin as even with the specialist fees, the prescription eye drops are less than half at Chewy versus Compassion's supplier, so I save money overall. If I could get eye drops at Chewy prices, I would have Compassion take care of my sweet baby's dry eyes as well.
March 07 · Rebel SandersThis by far is the best vet clinic i have ever been too! They truly live up to the name “compassion” all of the staff is so friendly and genuinely seem like they love their job. I have a pit/bull dog and he does not like the vet at all due to some bad past experience of breed discrimination and being mistreated. The second we walked in here they all showed him love and were so kind to him even tho he growled. He has gone a few times now and they are always so gentle and patient with him he even was giving kisses and getting pets which he never does at the vet! All in all this place is great!
August 01 · Carlene PopeI cannot say enough good things about the incredible team at CVH! When I first brought my beloved pittie in for her persistent allergies, I was feeling hopeless. She had been struggling with skin irritations, itching, and discomfort for far too long, and I wanted nothing more than to see her happy and healthy again.Dr. Havemann took the time to thoroughly examine my girl, listen to my observations, and discuss potential allergy triggers. She provided a comprehensive plan that included dietary adjustments and specific medications tailored to her needs. With her guidance, we switched to a specialized food that was gentle on her system, and she recommended effective medications that helped soothe her symptoms. The results have been nothing short of miraculous! In just a few weeks, my girls coat became shinier, her skin cleared up, and most importantly, she was finally free from the relentless itching that had plagued her for so long. It’s amazing to see her so full of life again—she’s playful, energetic, and just radiates happiness! I can hardly recognize the dog who once struggled so much; she looks absolutely wonderful!I am incredibly grateful to the entire team at CVH for their expertise and compassionate care. They truly go above and beyond for their patients, and it shows in the results. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring team to help their furry companions thrive. Thank you for giving Nala the relief she so desperately needed! P.S we absolutely miss you all!
