Cotswold Animal Hospital Reviews
We’ve been taking our pets here for 11 years, wouldn’t think to going anywhere else. Kind, super friendly, and always take time to explain everything. The dogs even get excited to visit!
Jun 03, 2025 · Bob FernstromTootsie and I couldn't be happier. Thankfully my neighbor told me about cotswold across from Cotswold Village where there's a UPS Harris Teeter, and since we've moved overto CAH, the entire staff has removed all stress from my life when it comes to maintaining all for french bulldogs high maintenance way of life. Tootsie has sedated nail trims here and will be scheduled soon for the surgery for braciophalic airway obstruction.Dr. Chellag and Dr. Nap have both met Tootsie and addressed all of my concerns. The office staff is aware, alert, friendly and organized. It's a well piled machine that you can tell focuses on patient care, but on knowing job responsibility. The office is busy but, you will never wait in a communal setting with otber dogs checking out other dogs. Instead, you're greeted by name instantly upon opening rhe door and escorted to your private room. Its as if you were at the W hotel. One of Oprah's favorites. It's the gold standard of customer service in my opinion when someone says "good morning!" then pronounces my lastname correctly, and says she could see my little dogs pointed ears through the window as we were driving in.Five stars for Courtney's cheerful office greets and empathy towards scheduling. 5 stars for Kaylie for her patience as well at in room checkouts for further explaining the breakdown of costs while we get into the routine of becoming a regular at Cotswold due to insurance with Embrace and all that comes with caring for a fresh bulldog. It costs $124.15 for sedation with the rounded nail trim dremmel sp? A bit extra, but the other mani/pedi will chip and leave the nails split I've found and squared off. It's worth the extra $10 visit cost total+premium nail $145.15Cat mom below: I'm so sorry to read of your experience. I also have a cat who showed up at my house after my previous cat battled cancer. I know you're upset for the procedure and misdiagnosis, but I know you only wanted to know what the growth was and thank goodness it was NOT a tumor. Kiki my tuxedo and Tootsie are sending you high fives and licks and favorite shared treats...make that crumbs (Toootsie is too quick!) If it makes your kitty cat feel any better.Nothing worse than feeling helpless with a sore, and sad pet. Wishing you both speedy recovery. -MarianaUpdated Review: 2/12/2025Professional Caring StaffSeamless OrganizationPersonalized Attention to DetailWelcoming and Happy StaffTop of the Line Doctors you can trustI'm a french bulldog owner. My dog has insurance. Anyone who has a braciophalic dog knows the struggles. Anyone who has a frenchie, will understand the challenges with allergies specifically food allergies. My dog, Tootsie receives quarterly sedated nail trims with an ear flush along with any necessary vaccinations here.*To reviews mentioning exam charge that's standard here. It will be $100 for example fee+what your pet is being sent for. This is charged for any in office visit. I have brought a sample in so that could be tested with my dog staying comfortably home, and I think I was charged for the sample+lab charge. Totally acceptable in my opinion.*If you've just loved to Charlotte or are researching a new vet for a necessary change, look no further. You're not only family here but, you will feel relief knowing you will receive clear communication and expert help for your furbabies. Dr. Chillag's team continues to be a godsend for our needs. Kikki, the tuxedo cat is coming to you soon. THANK YOU!Tootsie's Mom
Feb 12, 2025 · Mariana PThe staff and the doctors are very friendly and accommodating here! It’s a small group so you get to know the doctors, which is very nice. Easy to book and easy to use their online pharmacy. I would highly recommend. Barbara Hazlett
May 28, 2025 · Barbara HazlettOur almost 13 yr old dog was injured and our vet (who we've used for 15 yrs) couldn't get us in until 10-14 days from now so I had to find another vet. After reading all the 5 star reviews on Cotswold Animal Hospital, I called their office and they were able to get us in w/ 36 hrs.Once we arrived for our appointment, I could tell we were in good hands. The staff has great "bedside" manner and Dr. Tschegg was awesome. What was a very traumatic situation has turned out to be a blessing. We're in good hands, and their location is very convenient- right in the heart of Cotswold (even though we live in Old Providence, it's only 10 min away). And I was pleasantly surprised to see the fees were about 20-25% less than what we paid at our previous vet.
Jul 23, 2021 · Chris RatchfordI can't say enough great things about Cotswold Animal Hospital! The staff is absolutely amazing—they got me in on the same day and treated me and my pet with such kindness and professionalism. Dr. Zachary Chillag, DVM, was attentive, thorough, caring, and incredibly responsive. He took such good care of my spicy cat Raoul, handling him with patience and understanding. I felt completely confident in the care my pet received. Thank you all for everything! I highly recommend Cotswold to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care.
