Crossroads Food Animal Veterinary Service, located in White Pigeon, MI, is a vital resource for this specific need. This practice is dedicated to the well-being of large animals, including cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, and even backyard chickens. Unlike traditional small animal clinics that cater to dogs and cats, Crossroads specializes in the unique medical and husbandry challenges faced by food animal owners and producers. Their commitment to providing compassionate and knowledgeable service right where you need it sets them apart and makes them a crucial partner for farms and homesteads across the region.
Crossroads Food Animal Veterinary Service operates with a model that is both highly professional and deeply personal. The reviews for the veterinarian, Emilie, consistently highlight her amazing expertise, caring nature, and passion for her work. This combination of skill and genuine enthusiasm ensures that your animals receive the best possible care. The practice offers mobile veterinary services, which is an invaluable feature for large animal owners. Instead of the logistical challenge of transporting a sick or injured animal, the vet comes to you, providing on-site examinations, diagnostic tests, and treatment. This mobile approach saves time, reduces stress on the animals, and allows for direct observation of the animal's environment, which can be critical for accurate diagnosis. In addition to their mobile services, they also offer the convenience of an online pharmacy, making it easy to order necessary medications and supplies. This blend of traditional, hands-on care and modern convenience makes them a highly efficient and reliable service provider.
The clinic is strategically located to serve the agricultural communities of southern Michigan. Its address is 10589 US-12, White Pigeon, MI 49099, USA. July 27 · StephanieI can't express how grateful I am to have found a livestock rabbit friendly vet like Dr. Blough. She has been a Godsend for helping my herd through some really unusual diagnoses. May 21 · Amy Netherton (Dragon Lady)So thankful for Dr. Blough helping get our goats ready for a big move to the UP. She really wanted to understand our situation and what our animals would need and gave us a bunch of education on how we could care for our animals when we are on our own. With the challenging working pressure vets are under these days I’m so thankful for Dr. Blough being so thoughtful and kind.

December 22 · Jillian FiferI took my traumatized rescue kitten to them for treatment of ear mites and fleas, and they did a great job. Having those nasty little critters under control has changed her temperament to a much less aggressive, nearly docile, and loving kitten in less than 24 hours. Love it!
