★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Highly Recommend! This place was recommended by another clinic & I don’t regret coming here! The staff is super nice and sweet. They treated my Doberman with a lot of care and not to say that 2 weeks of treatment and also medication was included with the price paid so it was well worth it! This is how my Doberman is looking so far still has a lot more posting needed but they definitely did a great job!
February 01 · Diane RobledoI was soo excited to get the call when Dr.Schaffer was able to fit me in. Seeing all the pictures of pretty cropped ears had me excited for my doberman pup. Process was smooth, in & out. Nothing was over complicated and (forgive me i do not know his name) the guy with curly hair was great for letting me know what to look for. Each follow up appointment was less than 15 minutes, which I loved because traffic is crazy and I rarely came in where there were many dogs in office and they thoroughly inspected my baby’s ears. They have healed and I have taken initiative to post myself outside of the offered postings. Great experience! Happy Pup! Thank you all again!
October 11 · Amya HallPersonally, I wish I would’ve paid the extra costs and went elsewhere. Dr. Schaffer personally called me to squeeze us in her schedule because she had a cancellation. She was very nice and I appreciate her accommodating us. (Reason for the 2 stars) However, the male that answers the phone from time to time is incredibly rude and has cut me off anytime I’ve spoken to him over the phone. Despite that, we drove our 11 week old pup 3 hours from home because Dr. Schaffer came highly recommended. From the moment we dropped her off, to the moment we picked her up, the entire thing felt rushed. We were given an aftercare sheet on when to come back, but very little information on what to expect and what to watch out for. Her ears were completely wrapped and she was clearly uncomfortable even on medications. Immediately, I regretted ever making the decision to have her ears done and did not feel comfortable going back. We ended up having our aftercare done with a vet where we live, who told us that the sutures should never be wrapped. She uncovered the sutures and we noticed our dog was much more comfortable. She was also incredibly informative. We are now in the posting phase, and I can’t help but notice that one ear is more curved than the other, and the cut itself is much longer than what we asked for. Maybe this was a one off situation, but again, I believe this was a very rushed job and it felt very much like a chop house. Your dogs ears are an investment, pay the extra money and find someone who thinks of it as that.
August 14 · Kendal WhiteArguably the best ear cropping Veterinarian in Dallas. However, I wouldn't recommend calling their office with a heated concern about their handling and care of your 8 week old Doberman puppy after the procedure. I was told the office didn't want me to return. After a somewhat humiliating explanation and apology to the woman I spoke with they agreed to continue seeing my Dog but after the expensive procedure and several aftercare appointments on my on my very expensive Doberman I felt like my concern about my puppy was not unwarranted and they could've acted with more professionalism and understanding concerning the care of my pup.
August 02 · Tony EandiDr. Schaffer did a pawesome job with the 5 Beauceron’s I brought to her for ear cropping! She’s so nice and her staff is wonderful! They’re super professional and very knowledgeable! We will definitely be going back to them in the future!
