For pet owners in Las Vegas, selecting a veterinary care provider requires careful consideration of both the medical expertise and the overall client experience. Dr. Yolette Hines, DVM, located on E Pebble Rd, offers veterinary services that local residents might consider for their pets. The convenient location and the stated initial consultation fee could be appealing entry points for pet owners seeking care. One positive review indicates that when direct veterinary assistance is rendered, it can be satisfactory for the pet's needs.
However, it is crucial for locals to approach this practice with a heightened awareness of the detailed negative feedback provided by another client. The allegations of non-consensual procedures, significant unexpected charges, and perceived aggressive financial tactics, combined with alleged insensitive communication, represent serious concerns that potential clients should thoroughly investigate. The statement "pay the $59 and we will send it to collections since you can't pay the $1,500 bill take your pet home to die" is particularly alarming and suggests a breakdown in ethical practice and compassionate care.
While the positive feedback hints at good individual veterinary care, the negative experience raises red flags regarding transparency, patient consent, and financial practices. Therefore, for locals in Nevada considering Dr. Yolette Hines, DVM, it is highly advisable to prioritize explicit communication regarding all proposed treatments and their associated costs, to obtain written consent for all procedures, and to be prepared to advocate strongly for their pet's and their own financial well-being. This cautious approach will be vital in navigating the veterinary care landscape at this particular location.

Dr. Yolette Hines, DVM Reviews
Horrible horrible. I wish we never came here. I called and scheduled an apt because our animal was sick the said 59$ to be seen.. ok so we go down they ask to take my animal back for weight and vitals. The vet said they were going to insert a catheter for emergency purposes and gave me a quote over 1,500$ I told them I cannot afford that. They were very pushy on me using the credit card they offered. I said I need to go consult with my husband. We came back to pick up our animal and they wanted me to pay 300$!!!saying it was for blood work and meds.. I never consented for blood work or medication. The response they had was pay the 59$ and we will send it to collections since you can't pay the 1,500$ bill take your pet home to die. I'm very lucky to have a family friend that's a lawyer. This is not right.
