★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I can’t write enough about this place! Our furry boy has been very sick over the past month, and this place took great care of him. Our boy is suffering from critical liver disease; we were in a great dilemma about what was best for him.We kept him admitted for 3 nights, and all the vet techs and doctors were knowledgeable and empathetic to us.They kept us updated about him from time to time.We had to shift him to Fort Wayne for internal medicine consultation and admission, and EVCC was super helpful. The front lady (with bangs hair, I guess her name was Amanda) was so nice to us. Vet tech Sarah was so caring toward our little boy. Doctor Collin was very helpful.Just like I said, our boy is still not out of danger; we have a long way to go, and EVCC Mishawaka is a good companion in our journey.
August 05 · Mim TashmiaWe unfortunately had to say goodbye to our boy today. Their techs and doctor were very kind and gave us all of the time we needed. They had a nice little tray full of all sorts of snacks to give our dog before it was time for him to go to sleep. There was no pressure to say goodbye fast or to leave after it was over, and they had a nice selection of options to choose from in terms of how to go about cremating, as well as styles of boxes or vases to rest his ashes. They gave us a nice little imprint of his paw and a tuft of hair in a case after saying our goodbyes as well.It was a very sad day for us, but they did a good job at making it as nice for us as possible to do the hardest thing when it comes to owning a pet: Saying goodbye.
August 24 · ReeseWe are eternally grateful for Emergency Veterinary Care Centers in Mishawaka for 24 hour care - physically and emotionally. A typical sibling fight led to a laceration of her ear - I guess Evie decided it was her turn for an emergency visit, and first to be sedated and stitches. But the staff here were truly wonderful. Between the hours of 11:30pm-2:30am, the front desk staff were calm and kind. The biggest shoutout to our vet tech, Maddy (I wish we caught her last name!) who was an absolute blessing not only to Evie but also to us! Our Evie girl is always anxious at the vet, and with an injury to boot. But Maddy talked to her so sweetly, gently, and reminded her (and us!) what a sweet girl she was! She answered all of our questions so thoroughly and eased our pawrent minds! Evie was in and out as quickly as possible for it being some odd hours in the morning and it was evident the vet ensured she was calm (and drugged!) throughout the procedure and well taken care of! Thank you to this team, we would highly recommend should you find yourselves in need of a 24 vet ❤️She was clearly still a “drunk toddler” at our 3am arrival home (as we were told!), but she is now enjoying her her calm space while she recovers with all her happy meds 😊 She was still eager to see her brother and give us all the snuggles!
August 04 · Ashley CarleI want to thank everyone at EVCC. My baby Frankie was very sick, I was beside myself! The staff were amazing! and very compassionate. I unfortunately lost him 😞I know they did everything they could for him. 6-1-15 6-29-25 💔🐾
July 07 · Shirl FreeMy kitty passed away on a Sunday morning and no other vet was open so I took her here to be cremated. They were very nice, helpful and affordable. They had free urns to pick from if you want ashes back and they gave me a free impression of her paw prints with a bit of her fur before I left which was a big comfort that I got to take something of her home while I waited for her ashes. I looked through their catalog and bought an urn with a place to put her picture on it and a necklace containing her ashes. It took 5 days for me to receive her ashes by mail.
