Exton Vet Clinic Reviews
I just can’t say enough, we had very sick pup and Dr. gave up her personal time to get us to the office and treat him, quickly. The team worked in unison with the diagnosis and treatment. I was so relieved and grateful for everything that was done for my Jack. He was so sick, thank you so much. It was heartbreaking watching him decline and then like a miracle he was back to the very energetic and loving companion we adore. We are very thankful.Jack and brother Buster.
Jul 22, 2024 · Marci LancelloThe team at Exton Vet Clinic (EVC) has been taking care of both of our dogs. They have provided outstanding medical care, supervision, and treatment. The EVC genuinely cares about your pets and it is reflected in the level of care and service they provide.Recently, we had to put one of our dogs down. Saying goodbye to our beloved dog was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but the team at EVC made the experience as compassionate and comforting as possible. Doctor Stanek stayed with us the entire time, talking us through the process with such kindness and care. We never felt rushed, and it was clear that they truly understood the depth of our loss. When we picked up our dog’s ashes, we were deeply touched by the thoughtfulness of the staff. His ashes were placed in a beautiful wooden box, and they had taken an ink imprint of his paw, which they included on a card along with a heartfelt note “from our dog” thanking us for loving him. It was an incredibly meaningful gesture that brought us both comfort and tears. We cannot thank Exton Vet Clinic enough for the love and respect they showed both us and our fur baby. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that truly cares, we highly recommend them. They made one of our most difficult moments a little easier, and for that, we are forever grateful.
Mar 05, 2025 · Vincent CarranzaI was happy to find a vet so close to where I moved to, however, I was both disappointed and surprised with the way they treated me as a new customer. The actual Clinic has a very cozy atmosphere. The vet technician and receptionist were friendly and nice to talk to with. However, when the actual vet came into the room, I was immediately met with a hostile attitude about the way I take care of my pet. She berated me with a condescending tone and comments to match. How do you even say, "What do you think cats eat in the wild" to someone? My experience and mood had already been tanked before the actual exam even started.I care very deeply about my cat and I have always taken care to follow the instructions of my vets. I am always wiling to take new advice into consideration as science and research are always developing. While I appreciate and accept that the veterinarian has more degrees and experience in the subject than I will ever have, I am still a customer and I want to be treated with respect.I think she is a good person who cares about animals who probably just had a long day at work, but that doesn't give you the right to scold and treat people (especially new customers!) like children. You may have a better experience than me but, I will be taking my business to a more professional location going forward.
Nov 08, 2024 · Timothy RyerIn my family’s experience of having rescued/ fostered over 30 animals, never have I come across a more compassionate and knowledgeable doctor & staff than at this clinic. Dr Stanek, Emily, Steph, everyone makes it their “business” to treat you and your pet like family. Here are some pics of my cat, Mia, when it was time for her to transition and what a peaceful experience it was even with the Clinics live in pup, Indy, the German Shepherd you see in these pics watching over and comforting her. I have since sent multiple clients to this clinic the last few years who have all had the same experience. My other furry babies continue to thrive under the Doc and staff’s care into their senior years. I cannot recommend this clinic enough, your pets will be in the best hands possible. And on a final note, I personally felt compelled to write this review, because I was in the clinic the day that the reviewer named Susan Lloyd was having an emotional episode, because her dog was very sick and taking his last breaths. While it is extremely sad to lose your beloved pet after many years, not a single bit of that review is true, and it is unfortunate that she chose to take the loss of her pet out on the doctor and staff who tried very hard to help her go through a very difficult process. The rest of her reviews (which are also all one star) seem to reflect someone who doesn’t deal with crisis very well. In any event, this is the clinic to go, not only during your pets healthy years, but well into their senior years for long-term compassionate advice and affordable care.
Jan 18, 2022 · Parmar FamilyDoc Shannon and her staff are the best. They love our family - even the humans. Wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else. I drive from the other side of west chester. And would every day if I had to for my furry loved ones. She also has done house calls for us when we needed it for my poor 6 year old mastiff that had bone cancer or when all 4 of our dogs got an URI last winter. We have 3 mastiffs and a newdle. And we can’t wait to bring her our kitty once she is adopted this week. Doc and all of the staff are professional and caring - everything you need! 💗 🐾
