★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had to bring my dog Layla in for urgent care due to an allergic reaction, and I can’t thank Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital enough for how amazing they were. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly kind, gentle, and welcoming — not only to Layla, but to me as well. The environment was clean, calm, and comforting, which helped ease the stress of the situation.Dr. Hodapp was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to thoroughly examine Layla and created a treatment plan she truly felt was best to get her back to good health. It was clear she genuinely cared, and that gave me so much peace of mind. Layla is already doing so much better thanks to their care. After this experience, I’ve decided to switch Layla to Folsom Ranch for all of her regular veterinary care. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly set them apart. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for high-quality, reliable care.
June 04 · Taylor GravesWe brought our 15-year-old dog Blaze in for an urgent care visit, suspecting a possible UTI. The experience was really reassuring from start to finish. The vet did recommend running tests and lab work, but when we explained that we couldn’t afford them, he was incredibly understanding and didn’t make us feel guilty or judged. We asked if we could try a round of antibiotics first, and he agreed without hesitation, which we truly appreciated. The staff was very friendly and supportive, and the facility itself was clean, calm, and welcoming. We were able to book a same-day appointment and were seen quickly, which made a stressful situation so much easier. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of Blaze and for treating us with kindness and respect.
July 04 · Devlin MerrillWe are SO GRATEFUL for the team at Folsom Ranch and the finesse and kindness they showed to our cat Mingi this morning. He's had a few less-than-fun vet visits in the past, so we're always a little worried about taking him somewhere new, and the care and empathy our vet and the staff here showed him throughout his annual and vaccine updates were so, so appreciated. The staff was really approachable and welcoming, and the office was super clean and calm enough that he bounced right back to normal as soon as we got home. I'm really impressed with the care he was given. Thank you for getting our little guy up-to-date and making sure he stays healthy!
March 28 · Finn JacksonI’ve never felt more confident and cared for than I do with Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital. As pet parents, we’re at our most vulnerable when our animals are unwell—and finding a veterinarian, like Dr. Noack, you can fully trust is priceless.Dr. Noack took a loving, pragmatic approach in helping my 13-year-old chiweenie with a serious spinal issue. While a $6,000 MRI was out of reach, he used his knowledge and deep experience to create a thoughtful treatment plan that’s bringing my dog real comfort and quality of life.Competence and compassion are the hallmarks of this place. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave; you and your pet feel the love. A special shout-out to Dustin, whose passion for rehabilitation shines through in every laser treatment he gives my Shadow (pic attached is getting ready for laser treatment). I’m so grateful to have found this exceptional team.
March 31 · NicoletteThe staff at Folsom Ranch are some of the most compassionate and incredible people I’ve ever met. I’m going to go on a very long-winded recap of our experience, but I need to tell you why they are the absolute best hands your furry family members (and you and your human family members) could ever be in.Our kitty, Leo (also known as Bebo), was unfortunately losing the battle to cancer very quickly, so we had to make an appointment for him to help him over the rainbow bridge. From the moment we got out of the car, someone came out to ask if we were there for Leo, opened the door for us and put us in a room where they had a cozy spot with a mattress on the counter for him. The tech came in shortly after and made sure we were fully informed about the process and knew what to expect while making sure any questions we had were answered, and she was just very soft and gentle and kind throughout the whole thing. She even gave Bebo a couple of smooches, which made me so happy that he was surrounded with love from everybody there in his final moments. Although he couldn’t eat, she brought in some treats he may enjoy just in case, and any other time he would have gone crazy for them. She was amazing. The doctor was absolutely incredible. Dr. Cameron I believe. He was just as gentle and kind to us as well as Bebo while petting him and making sure we were all comfortable and knew what to expect, and reassured us that this was the right time to make this decision. We were all a mess, but we decided to stay by Bebo’s side through all of it, even though the doctor reassured us that if we couldn’t handle it, we could leave at any time. I’m sure most people would say this, but Leo was the absolute sweetest and most perfect cat and we were gutted to be letting him go. The doctor confirmed he had passed and while absolutely balling our eyes out, asked if it was okay to give us hugs. He proceeded to give us each the most genuine, meaningful and reassuring, full-of-love hug. He said “thank you for loving him the way that you do” and I felt like he genuinely understood and cared about us.There was so much in between that, they gave us a good amount of private time with Bebo in the room to say our goodbyes, there were tissues and water bottles in the room when we first got there. Despite the absolutely terrible circumstance that brought us to this hospital last night, I am so thankful we had the staff that we did to help guide us through and give our Leo some extra love before he passed. They treated him as I would imagine they’d treat their own pets. Like their own family, full of love and making sure he was as comfy as he could be until the very end.Thank you all for the love and kindness you shared with each of us. I will forever be grateful for you ❤️
