They treated my dog and I as if we were family. My vet tech(Becca) truly went above and beyond for me and I am very grateful for her. 10/10
April 09 · Breanna BeinbornI highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for a vet to care for their furry family members. This is the most compassionate, caring, highly skilled staff I have ever experienced. The experiences we have had here have been amazing. Stories too long to tell, but if you have an animal with an illness. This is the group of veterinarian's that you want fighting for your pet. They feel loved, and you also feel loved and cared for as well. We love all of the vets that work here and have had experiences with all of them.
July 18 · Wendy Jo AmbroseWe’ve had such a wonderful experience at Geneva Lakes animal hospital. They took care of our dog through all the good and tough times. The way they helped us through to the end with Brady is something I will forever be grateful for. The vets and all the staff here are so thorough, kind, and caring. I’d recommend to anyone!
May 16 · Julie LoisWe took in our senior dog we adopted from a rescue for a vet visit. He’s had a very difficult life and this was a bit stressful for him. Dr. Terry and her technician were very patient with him which made all the difference in the world. I highly recommend this clinic.
August 01 · Deborah JenkinsThe vet called for x rays and blood work. Didn’t even ask me. Pushy and preyed upon weakness. I was skeptical about x rays but ok with blood work, but couldn’t think that quickly to ask questions. That’s what she preyed upon. Vet comes back and says couldn’t see anything in x rays because of all the water my cat was retaining. Are you serious?! She was clearly retaining water! $135 for an x ray. I should get my money back for that. More than happy to pay the rest of the bill. Anyway, my cat had some liver issue from not eating due to a parasite. To get rid of the parasite is an 84 day treatment, but first she needed a feeding tube. Then if that worked, we’d start the treatment plan, then if that worked, she’d live. Vet said this is what we’re going to do. Didn’t ask. Didn’t say it was an option. Just told me the way it was going to be. She got snippy when I pushed back. Then she wanted to sell me 4 other things. Didn’t ask. Just told me. When the assistant came in, I said no. I will never return again. She talked a lot, talked fast, told me what was going to be done before I could process what was happening and hoping I was too weak to speak up, then got short and sassy when I did speak up. I’ve been going to vets for decades, but this was my first encounter with one that I give less than 4 stars too. But hey, maybe she was having a bad day. I went to another vet and they put my cat down 1.5 days later and my sweet almost 11 year old baby is at peace with no tube in her esophagus put there by a bossy, controlling, heartless person. Maybe the other vets are good. I hope so. I really do.
