Grand Montecito Animal Hospital Reviews
The entire staff is AMAZING 💜💜💜 when I lost my son Paco (18 yrs old) a few years ago they were loving and very patient with me. Then last year I lost Ms Diva Dog (17 yrs old) they were again kind and loving. This year March 3, 2025 Dr Lewis went above and beyond to send my baby home to God🕊️💜… I couldn’t take seeing her go and he stayed with her until the end and that meant the world to me. She really took to him from the first time they met and it meant everything to know she was with a kind soul that cared for her!! Thank all of you from my soul. Not one time have I ever had a bad experience at GM. I read a review where someone commented on the way the girls look😡 it’s horrible when people are going through a hard time c c with they babies and the only outlet they can come up with is to be insulting. Take a lesson from the dogs… THEY MAKE MUCH BETTER PEOPLE🐕🐕🐕 i personally love the eclectic staff… they are all very kind people. You can actually feel the good vibes at GM 💜🌹
Apr 09, 2025 · Felycia MartinWe didn’t spend much time in the lobby after checking in, and wait time in the exam room was also minimal. Dr. Lewis was very professional, kind and caring and provided details about my dog’s progress since the last time he was seen about his issue with his ears. I was informed about how he was progressing and what would help him continue to improve. All in all, I know my two dogs receive great care here and I would recommend them for all pet parents.
May 17, 2025 · Gara ErbUpdate from June 3rd 2025: On May 3rd I brought my cat in for a follow up appointment to get his thyroid checked.First they charged me nearly three times as much for the test as they did for the same test less than two months prior.Second NO ONE has contacted me in the month since the appointment with the results, or let me know if we needed an updated prescription dosage, which is the exact reason why we had to come in and got ripped off in the first place.Third, when I called into the office to figure out what was going on no one could actually tell me. The techs are not allowed to interpret the results, my primary vet is on vacation so they can't help me, and the other vet that requested the new test won't be in until Friday, but the staff said they would "leave a sticky note" for them. The bottom line is that this is a poorly run facility, and you should avoid it if at all possible.--------------------------Original review:Every time I need a medication refilled by this office, after they prescribed it, they wait days if not weeks to get it taken care of.I submitted a refill request through Chewy a week ago, I also submitted a refill request through the app this office uses. The request I sent in through the vets app was ignored for 3 business days, and the reply I eventually got from the vets office was that I had to submit the request through Chewy (which I already did days before). So I then call the office that same day telling the staff (after the usual 10 minute hold on the phone like always) that I already submitted the prescription through Chewy and asked why it wasn't approved yet, to which they had no explanation. Now my pet is out of the medicine they prescribed him because they won't refill it. That would be enough to bother most people, but this has happened to me EVERY TIME I HAVE FILLED A PRESCRIPTION WITH THEM.If you are looking for quick attentive customer service, go elsewhere.
Jun 03, 2025 · Clinton BarnesDr. Lewis and staff took great care of precious baby (now senior) Tito. We have had three dental cleanings here since Tito was adopted and they have all went well. Tito was even running around the house like his normal happy self after his cleaning and extractions. They are very friendly and professional and will work with you if you have a budget for dental cleaning. They patiently answer questions and help you through the entire process. Thank you !!!
Oct 03, 2024 · Steffie WillisI had an appointment for my two cats for vaccinations. One of my cats has a runny nose so I figured it would be great that they can check her out during her appt. Not only are they not going to check her out they also refused the vaccinations because they can’t check her out. They said it’s a “6 hour walk in wait” yet I am literally sitting in the vet room with my two cats in the back area with the vets. I have been here for 40 minutes only one of my cats to get vaccinations. I will not be coming back.
