As pet owners in the vibrant New York region, we're constantly seeking the best possible care for our beloved animal companions. When it comes to their health and well-being, many are exploring options beyond conventional medicine, looking for approaches that consider the whole animal – body, mind, and spirit. This is where holistic veterinary care truly shines, offering a comprehensive and integrated approach to pet health. One such practice that has served the New York area for many years is Holistic Veterinary Services in New Paltz, NY.
Holistic Veterinary Services is dedicated to providing alternative and complementary veterinary care, aiming to support pets in achieving optimal health and vitality. Their philosophy often involves looking for the root causes of health issues rather than just treating symptoms, integrating various modalities to create personalized treatment plans. This approach can be particularly appealing for owners whose pets may not respond well to traditional treatments, or for those seeking to minimize the use of pharmaceutical drugs.
It is important for pet owners to research and understand the specific approaches and philosophies of any veterinary practice, especially when considering holistic care. While many testimonials highlight positive experiences with holistic approaches, it's also crucial to be aware of the varied outcomes and to have realistic expectations. Some clients report profound improvements in their pets' conditions, including increased vitality and a better quality of life, even in cases where conventional treatments had limited success. Others may have different experiences, emphasizing the importance of open communication with the veterinary team and thorough due diligence regarding the practice's methods and credentials.
Holistic Veterinary Services is located at 10 Main St, New Paltz, NY 12561, USA. New Paltz is a charming town in Ulster County, nestled in the scenic Hudson Valley. For pet owners in New York City and surrounding areas, reaching New Paltz typically involves a drive north. The journey offers picturesque views and can be a pleasant trip for those willing to travel for specialized care. While it's not within the immediate five boroughs, its proximity to major roadways makes it accessible for many in the broader New York region who are seeking dedicated holistic veterinary solutions.
For those relying on public transportation, options may be limited, and driving is generally the most convenient way to reach the clinic. Given its location in a smaller town, parking is generally more accessible than in dense urban centers. The practice also offers telephone and Skype consultations, which can be a significant advantage for pet owners who find it challenging to travel to the physical location, particularly for follow-ups or initial discussions about their pet's health. This flexibility greatly enhances accessibility for clients across New York and even beyond.

Holistic Veterinary Services Reviews
Very disappointed with this “vet” first I spent so much money for her to tell me that she uses a machine to give diagnoses . Then she has an “assistant” that handles all her work . She told me that she specializes in Cancer and that’s her specialty that she has more than 90 % success ratio . I paid more than 350 for the first consultation told me to order the products from her website because that way she does not have write prescriptions. When it comes to supplements since when people need prescriptions . I spent a lot of money on those supplements . Things got worse for my doggie . When I called her for a follow up all she said was that it was weird that she didn’t understand why , then she sent me to purchase other things . Meanwhile she sends newsletters almost every day advertising conventional medications . When she’s supposed to be into homotherapy . She didn’t do nothing for my dog nor even follow up to see how my baby was doing . Please check her credentials with the vet association before dealing with her . Totally a wasted time and money . I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER TO ANYBODY .
