Last week, I thought I was going to lose my soul dog, Ellie Mae. My normal vet, and several other vets in the area weren’t able to take a walk in, let alone an Emergency - and I was desperate. I was about to start heading to an ER vet in Charlottesville when I found Hope animal Hospital on Google. I called them, explained the situation and we were seen within the hour.Dr. Ahmad and his wonderful staff were not only professional and knowledgeable, but they were kind and empathetic. I was a spastic mess and every single employee that I’m had contact with during her stay, were incredible. Especially the receptionist, Lorna (who was there every single day that I was, working open to close).I spent a great time at the clinic over a several day stint, while my girl received care and, I found out that Dr. Ahmad was the only vet. Now, please know, this vet is open 7 days a week 8-10 house a day - only closing on Thanksgiving day and Christmas Day, and Dr Ahmad is the only vet. His staff told me he rarely ever takes a day off because of how committed he was to caring for the animals. One of the days Ellie was there; he was coincidentally enough scheduled for a day off for the first times in months. When I checked in that day, his staff told me he had been calling and texting them the whole day he was out, getting updates girl and providing support and direction to the techs.I love them so much I am switching all of my animals over to Hope Animal Hospital for their primary vet. - Caitlin Crossman
