★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Edited 8/13/2025. We have been bringing our mini zoo here for years. They continue to be amazing. Dr. Brophy is our go to and is fantastic. The girls up front continue to be the sweetest and are always welcoming. Everyone here has always put the care of my animals foremost. Thank you all!Edited 11/18/23. Two years since my initial review. They are still amazing! We have been coming here for years and years now. Dr. Brophy and Dr. Kolt Peightal are so knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. The techs, nurses, and front desk staff are equally as impressive. I can write a novel on all the times they have gone and continue to go above and beyond. I just want them to know that they are appreciated. My family is extremely grateful for everyone there. These guys are amazing and so kindhearted at what they do. They see our entire zoo! They did an emergency surgery on our cat who ate a foreign object. The dr texted me updates throughout the day and even after hours on his surgery and recovery. They have also been great in helping us navigate my Pittie’s kidney disease, often squeezing us in last minute for check ups/medications.They treated my Jack Russel who got into a scrap and needed drains/stitches. They rushed her back and had her cleaned up in no time.Time and time again, Ironwood has been there for my pet family for everything fromEmergencies to their preventive care. The office staff is amazing and I trust ironwood completely on the care of all of my animals!
August 13 · Curt CalvertThis is the worst vet I have ever been to. The care team was awful at communicating. My puppy was having issues using the restroom and they did a uranalysis that cost me $130. When the results came back they called me and told me that it could be a number of things and that it was all going to be very expensive testing. I took my puppy to a different vet and turned out to just be GI and all she needed was medication. This vet had no care in the world when it came to the health of my puppy, all they care about and wanted to talk about was money. This vet is unprofessional and too expensive. I do not recommend taking your pet here!
May 20 · Madison PlacencioThis is long overdue. I was new to the area and still searching for a good vet that i trusted. I had made an appointment for a different vet near by, but messed up and ended up here. They completely played it off as I had an appointment. They gave my dog vaccines that she did not need because (big surprise) they didn't have the records I had sent.. BECAUSE IT WAS NOT TO THEM! A urine test cost $200 which is 4 times more expensive than the vet I found after my terrible experience. On top of that, the doctor was constantly trying to upsell me and obviously did not care about my dog. I had questions about topical things that the vet straight up told me he just "Didn't know that kind of stuff" and I would have to have anything sent in for hundreds of dollars.. in short... not only did I feel like they did not care about my family member, they felt like a middleman scam, and they overvaccinated her because they were so worried about taking my money and neglected to check any records. Horrible horrible experience. I'm still very upset at this clinic and would advise people NOT to go here.
March 25 · Valentina AddabboRecently I went to Ironwood Animal Hospital for the first time since I moved and needed to find a new vet, I was not disappointed! The staff was so kind and the Dr Grant the sub Dr was amazing! She was so kind and made me feel better/let me ask her all the questions I had! Also! My cat had a cough and they let me send them a video to look at and we got a game plan going without having to come in and make another appointment to see them again( which made me realize they were not after money and truly care about there patients). We will definitely be going here from now on! I also love that it’s a small business locally own vet not a corporate office!
February 20 · Desirea DewberryBeen coming here for 5 years. I believe ownership changed a year ago or so and since then its been upcharge after upcharge. We had a scheduled appt for 2 dogs for specific vaccines and quoted 280. My husband got there for appt and they tried to charge 850. Not going back ever after 5 years here.Would have given zero stars if i could have
