★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- So incredibly grateful for the team at Kansas City Animal Emergency. We have been traveling cross country this week and yesterday my dog, Rodeo, began to faint and go limp after a few minutes at a local dog park. We rushed him to the clinic, and he was lucky to receive top tier care overnight for heat exhaustion. We are so appreciative of the measures the staff went through to ensure he was safe and treated properly. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy! He’s on the mend and feeling like himself again. August 20 · Kylee Wofford
- Dr. Farmer is absolutely phenomenal. She is so caring and knowledgeable! She saved my baby Walter’s life and kept me updated through every step of his surgery. He is now healthy and happy. Thank you for treating us with such compassion, I would absolutely recommend! July 19 · Kaylee Shrauger
- If you find yourself needing vet emergency services, this is where you want to go. Last week my baby Roman had a catastrophic injury that resulted in us having to make the horrible decision to have him euthanized. I was distraught and couldn’t handle seeing my baby in pain and lost my temper a bit with the staff, but they were so patient and kind and even said they understood that emotions run high when you’re heartbroken and trying to help your pet. They made the worst night of our lives as smooth as it could possibly be and I will never forget their kindness. Thank you KCAE for helping my baby cross the rainbow bridge as peacefully as possible. - I took my 20-year-old cat Pokey here for a UTI on a weekday night. I was very impressed and touched by the compassion and empathy I was shown by Dr. Farmer. My kitty comes first, but she made sure I was doing okay too.Thank you to all the hardworking vets who stay up late to take care of our furbabies during emergencies! May 14 · A Jolitz
- We visited KC Animal Emergency for the first time last night and had the best experience with the Doctor, Kelly Farmer and all of the staff members there as well. Everyone was so so thorough and it’s so reassuring to know that when it’s late and a stressful situation, every person is on their A game with your baby. Our cat had to stay overnight for oxygen and even once I was home they called with updates, and just so much information- literally packets of information waiting for me. Every interaction I saw every staff member have with other clients in the waiting area was so empathetic and genuine. I heard Kelly offer another lady waiting a blanket which I thought was so sweet since wait times can become so long during testing. When I came to pick up my cat this morning I had such a detailed write up of his stay printed and emailed to me, which made it so easy to pass along to our primary vet office. Lots of pamphlets and again just information. The overnight vet was awesome, and also just so empathetic and helped me with resources and ideas of how to move forward with our cat. Truly cannot recommend this ER Center enough if you happen to need one. I’ve never felt that at ease leaving behind a pet to stay overnight. I know he was in the best hands and am so grateful for the wonderful level of care we received. I feel that it’s very rare to find somewhere that can work really quickly at that level of emergency, while also being incredibly thoughtful, kind, and check in on the owner as well to provide continuous updates as they go to help you feel less scared. 10/10!
