★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Great staff and inexpensive procedures compared to other clinics in the area. I brought my kitten in for spay and all her vaccinations and everyone was helpful, kind and informative. Will bring my animals here from now on and will continue to recommend to others. July 12 · Sage Buckler
- Really good honest vet. Much cheaper than every other local vet. He helps find options that aren’t expensive too like over the counter. I do wish their file system was online because it would be easier with pet insurance. He’s a really good veterinarian, highly recommend.Edit: I also want to add that he is one of the very few vets that is not owned by corporate, he owns the practice himself. That’s why it’s so much more reasonably priced. I also love the vet techs they are all so nice and helpful. I always have a great experience and my dog loves going there. I wish I would have started going here many many years ago. He is truly a vet that wants to help animals and really loves them! Office full of wonderful human beings. April 02 · Miranda
- I cant give this location as many stars as id like. They deserve so much more than 5 stars. I brought my dog in for a pretty nasty ear infection. I told them I'd have *no* idea how he'd act in there but they clearly weren't concerned.Let me tell you. My dog let them clip his toenails, clean his ears, and was shockingly calm the entire time. One woman held him and comforted him the entire time, (and obviously held him on the table so he wouldn't fall!!)The vet was quick and easy and didnt talk to me like I'm dumb. He just seemed glad to be helping my dog. I cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have this vet clinic so close. Every animal I've ever brought here was in the best care. They truly go above and beyond what I could hope for my babies. I cant imagine taking them anywhere else now. May 03 · Lauren Preator
- We’ve been happy clients of another Kansas City vet since we moved here four years ago, but chose Loving Care for our 13-year-old Lab’s leg tumor removal due to their much lower quote of $400. While there for the consult the doctor mentioned they don’t receive outside funding and barely profit, which made me want to support them. I planned to donate and encourage others to do the same. However, when I picked up my dog, the bill was nearly double. They said pain meds and other essentials weren’t included in the quote which was never explained upfront. The follow-up visit to remove staples was what prompted this review. The doctor was sitting in the open room with a cat on his chest when we arrived. He went from petting the cat to digging into my dogs surgical area without washing his hands and no gloves. He used wall tools that were hanging up in an open room that was not sanitary. I was concerned that he would miss a staple so I asked him how many staples he put in and he said he didn’t count them when he put them in. I knew there were more than 10 just by looking at it but why would he not count them? His answers often conflicted with the techs reactions, (they would shake their heads in disagreement but he couldn’t see them) The whole process felt rushed and unprofessional. I ended up taking her to our regular vet after just to be sure the wound was healing properly.Lastly he waited until after surgery to tell us she probably wouldn’t make it thru the summer. Not the experience I had hoped for. I wanted to love this place but that didn’t happen. July 10 · Angie Pike
- It's always great care and service. They have a rebate for certain medications that helps so much! Great staff 👍 October 03 · Elizabeth Dunn-hall
