As a local practice, Malone Don DVM is a part of the fabric of Pulaski. The clinic is dedicated to providing essential veterinary care for the animals of the region. The provided reviews highlight a customer's negative experience with the staff, which is unfortunate and not representative of the level of care a veterinary clinic strives for. While such an experience can be discouraging, it is important to remember that such isolated incidents may not reflect the overall quality of medical care provided by the veterinarian. A veterinary practice's primary goal is to aid animals, and they are typically equipped to handle a variety of health concerns.
Based on its location in a community with both residential and agricultural areas, it is reasonable to expect that Malone Don DVM provides a range of services for both small companion animals and large farm animals. This dual focus is a common and vital feature for veterinary clinics in rural areas of Tennessee. A clinic with this versatility serves a critical role in supporting the health of the local economy and the well-being of the community's animals, from beloved family dogs and cats to valuable livestock.
Choosing a veterinary practice is about finding a long-term partner in your pet’s health. While the provided feedback is negative regarding a customer's experience, the clinic's continued operation suggests a history of providing the medical care needed by the community.

Choosing a veterinary clinic is a personal decision, and it is crucial to consider all aspects of a practice. The provided reviews from one customer describe a negative experience with a staff member's attitude, which is a serious concern for any client. This highlights the importance of effective communication and empathy in a veterinary setting. A pet owner seeking care, especially for a large or farm animal, is likely looking for a partner who is not only medically competent but also supportive and understanding.
However, a single experience does not always define an entire practice. A veterinary clinic that has been a long-standing fixture in a community, as Malone Don DVM appears to be, often has a foundation of providing necessary and reliable care. For a local farmer dealing with a potential mineral deficiency in their herd—a common issue in Tennessee where minerals like copper, zinc, and selenium can be deficient in soil and forage—it is essential to have access to a veterinarian with knowledge of large animal health. A veterinarian is a key resource for diagnosing and treating such issues, and a local clinic would be the first point of contact for this kind of critical advice.
The practice's accessibility for both small and large animal clients is a significant benefit to the Pulaski community. The ability to handle both household pets and livestock in one location streamlines veterinary care for many residents.
In conclusion, while the provided feedback highlights a client communication issue, the role of Malone Don DVM as a local veterinarian is undeniably important to the Pulaski community. For those seeking veterinary care, particularly for large animals, it is worth contacting the clinic to inquire about their services and form your own opinion. A personal visit or phone call can help determine if the practice's medical expertise and client service align with your expectations.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I called them about my farm animals having a mineral deficiency and the staff that answered the phone got super nasty with me. I just asked Them if I could use a mineral injectable without going to a vet and the staff got very irritated because I wouldn’t give them my full name to ask about mineral deficiencies. This veterinarian hires some of the nastiest people in Pulaski With the nastiest attitudes You would think he would want to hire people that wanted to help people with animals.

May 20 · Wild AdventurerMisdiagnosed my female dog, now she has to have surgery due to trusting Dr Whitley Jackson's diagnosis.. Will not be back. Also charged me for a urinalysis and Xray - that was not done, like they said it was. Found this after requesting medical record.

June 24 · Lele BrownDr. Malone is absolutely wonderful! We have never had a veterinarian who will tell us exactly what he would do rather than run up a large bill like so many do now. He is conservative yet if you want something he will do it. We are new equine owners and he has been so kind even when I called him at 11pm at night. It is obvious that he cares about the animals well being. I can't rave enough about him and we highly recommend him!
