Nature's Oasis Animal Hospital Introduce
For pet owners across East Alabama, ensuring the long-term health and vitality of their beloved companions often requires looking beyond conventional veterinary services. **Nature's Oasis Animal Hospital** in Auburn, AL, is a distinctive **Veterinarian** practice that specializes in integrative medicine, successfully blending traditional diagnostics and procedures with safe, effective holistic therapies. This unique approach allows the clinic to address a broader spectrum of conditions, particularly chronic illnesses, mobility issues, and pain management where traditional methods may have reached their limit.
Led by Dr. Floyd, the practice is gaining recognition for its commitment to seeing the "whole animal." As highlighted in compelling customer testimonials, the focus often starts with fundamental elements like nutrition, ensuring that what your pet eats supports their entire bodily system, including joints and ligaments. The review praising the care for a dog with a chronic ligament tear is a testament to this philosophy: the treatment plan involved not just local intervention, but a holistic combination of **Acupuncture**, laser therapy, mild **Chiropractic adjustments**, and a crucial change to a cooked diet using **Chinese herbs**. The resulting "amazing" change in mobility and mood for both a younger Labradane and a senior Schnoodle demonstrates the power of this non-traditional yet highly effective veterinary medicine.
The clinic fosters an atmosphere of compassion and professionalism, which is particularly beneficial for animals that are anxious or shy. The dedication to a safe and comfortable experience is evident, with one client noting that their very shy Dachshund "did great with the doctor and even held very still for her **Acupuncture**." For Alabama residents seeking a deeper, more comprehensive level of care that prioritizes both prevention and effective chronic pain management, Nature's Oasis Animal Hospital offers an essential and cutting-edge alternative.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- My 12 yo Dachshund is very shy and slow to warm up to strangers touching her. She did great with the doctor and even held very still for her acupuncture. I was impressed with them both. We will definitely recommend this clinic for holistic, safe, and effective treatment. The Dr. Has a lot of experience with dachshunds. June 07 · Sarah Rooks
- We have a 5 year old Labradane who suffers from a ligament tear she had since 8 months old. Surgery was not a fix for her. It was getting worse and she could hardly walk. Her back end would just fall to the ground. We knew a chiropractor helped is so we searched for one for a dog and this one came up. YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX TO USE THIS VET. The first visit was very different. She first addressed the food. She went on to explain the bodily systems and how these affect joints and ligaments. She used a laser, performed acupuncture, and some mild chiropractic adjustments. She then chose some Chinese herbs to give. We left there thinking everything seemed really strange but what the heck-we tried everything else. We started cooking her food (this saved us $70 a month) just like she said and we gave her the supplements. Within a week, Sally could trot, get up and down, wasn't depressed, and her swelling in her knee was down. We are now 3 weeks in and the change is amazing. We also have a 15 year old Schnoodle we were going to put down due to lumbosacral disease and pain but we were so impressed with the change in our big dog we tried it on our senior dog. One week later, our senior dog is walking better and his pain has stopped. She is so knowledge in non-traditional vet medicine and gave us more time with our fur babies. Thank you Dr. Floyd! - Brought my dog here for her excessive coughing, hoping it wasn't heart worm. The vet was so wonderful, opened up her home and sat in the floor with my dog to figure out why she was coughing the way she was. The heartworm test came back negative and it was boiled down to asthmatic issues along with a sore throat from coughing so much that it constantly itched. My pet was given acupuncture therapy, chiropractic care and natural supplements to help get her through the transition. Her symptoms went away by 80% in the first week! She is doing much better and I will continue to bring my pup in as needed. July 27 · brianna nicholson
- Nothing but excellent things to say about Dr. Floyd. She's extremely knowledgeable. She's gotten me, my dogs, and my horses through some things that other vets simply wouldn't even look at. She is very straight forward and honest about what she can and can't do, and handles every critter as if it were her own. I was skeptical of holistic veterinary medicine at first... but now, it is ALWAYS my first choice for any issue we have. You will not find a vet anywhere around here who cares more for your animal.
