★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We've taken our kitten there twice for well checks. They offered tests that we didn't even know about. When we went in they almost immediately whisked kitty away and took good care of him (evaluated, vaccines, fecal exam, nail trims)and there were treats involved. 😆 I cant speak for a true emergency though. We just adopted a another kitten and will be taking her here too.The staff here are wonderful. They are very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is that they only see small animals.
May 29 · Candi FreemanI have been going here since late 2019 with my cat but only recently did they lift their social distancing rules. After seeing in person how Dr. Thomas deals with her, I unfortunately will not be returning. My cat fought through her gabapentin and the vet's tone towards me was accusatory, alluding to me not administrating the pre-appointment medication properly. My cat's wobbly and lethargic nature before and after the visit would say otherwise. She couldn't even stand properly outside of the clinic and Dr. Thomas suggested we increase the dose for next time and was at a loss for suggestions besides that.I spoke with other vets who informed me that fighting through gabapentin due to fear and addrenaline, and even it having the opposite intended effect, is not uncommon, despite Dr. Thomas's bewilderment. I'm not sure how she's been in practice this long and still doesn't know what she's doing in this regard. Also not sure why she was so confused by my cat's behavior when we have been coming here for the past 5 years. The whole situation rubbed me the wrong way and I unfortunately no longer trust her advice as a practitioner. If you have a "difficult cat", I highly encourage you to go elsewhere. The extra star is for the vet techs who have always been way more understanding and empathic than Dr. Thomas.
May 11 · alexI am from Gadsden but in Auburn for the weekend and my dog was attacked by another dog. Although they were busy, they made an appointment for me later in the day. I had never utilized Dr Thomas in the past, but have walked by her clinic numerous times. She was so good with my dog, full of knowledge and has a fantastic “bed side manner.” I hope I will not need her services again, but will not hesitate to use her again.I highly recommend Dr Thomas and N Gay Vet Clinic!
May 16 · John CrossI recently brought my dog Rocky to this clinic and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and they took excellent care of Rocky. The vet listened attentively to my concerns and provided clear explanations about Rocky's treatment options, and prices. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the service we received here.
April 09 · Ábner NunesSuch a caring, friendly staff. They always take such good care of my Mila girl and I am so grateful!!!! Never had an issue!
