Newark Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I wish it’d give a 4.5- only reason being is due to a situation that happened with one of the front desk staff. But- Dr Hauser was AMAZING with my golden retriever, Barnabas aka Barney- who is fear aggressive & fear reactive. I’ve been to a lot of different doctors for my babies & I’ve never felt so comfortable & confident talking to the nurses & doctors there. I will only see Dr Hauser & her only due to her being so kind, patient, gentle & understanding. She took her time with Barney & didn’t rush or force him. I felt like she gave her 100% attention to us & I didn’t feel like we were rushed to get in & out. Even with taking a look at his cyst & getting a biopsy- he was comfortable with her & Tristen. Her & the vet technician Tristen, sat on the floor with him & took their time, gave lots of treats, lots of baby talk & peanut butter to him to get him comfortable. && by the time we were done with the visit- he was calm & relaxed with no signs of discomfort or anxiety. When the last places we’ve been to, he was lunging, growling, biting & trying to get away. I will 100% always see her & Tristen from here on out because I felt at peace with everything. Thank you guys for taking such good care of my baby boy.
Jun 12, 2025 · Bri MikellWe recently got a new bearded dragon, and needed to take her in for her first visit. The staff were so professional and were very encouraging about offering tips on caring for a reptile. We will definitely continue to take Pancakes here.
Oct 17, 2024 · ShaneI’m very satisfied with the care they give my Emma. They are friendly, caring, professionals and the best part, Emma gets along great with them that’s important to me.
May 31, 2025 · Grace PlattI absolutely love this vet. I have had nothing but great experiences with all three of my labs. They always get me in right away if I have a major situation and are super caring. They go out of their way to take care of our dogs as if they were there own.
Dec 16, 2024 · Marlene WilsonThis has nothing to do with your services except a hospital should include longer hours. That would be the same as going to a reg hospital for people but sorry the ER is closed till morning. We had to drive our border collie clear to Dayton for a midnight emergency and yes she had to be put down an hour after that due to an undiagnosed cancer. So will you be offering longer hours?
