★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I cannot say enough about the care my pup received at NDVESH when he came down with a bout of acute pancreatitis. A scary experience for both him and I, and they handled the issue quickly from the moment I came in- bloodwork to diagnose was done within 15 minutes, and two options for care (inpatient and outpatient) were suggested. We opted for inpatient and they were able to get him up and running within 24 hours. He was treated like royalty and wasn’t even a little bit nervous when we had to come back the next day for his last dose of medicine. They even cared enough to follow up 2 days later to check in on him. I hope we never need them again but if we do have a pet emergency, they will be our first call!
June 16 · Kristi RovedattiWe brought our sweet girl, Penelope in after getting her at the Dallas Animal Shelter. She was extremely sick with pneumonia and quite weak. Thanks to the medical team and after 7 hours sitting with her with her IV's we were able to get her well again. I would highly recommend their services in the case of medical emergencies with your pet.
March 18 · Michelle MatieDr. Brown, Kelsey, and Madeline took such incredible care of my sweet girl. She came in for coughing, excessive licking, tight stomach, etc. Madeline was incredibly diligent in getting all information and making sure my dog felt safe. Madeline and Kelsey loved on my girl while she got her x-rays, which I greatly appreciated since she can be anxious! There were a lot of snuggles and comfort from both of them. Dr. Brown did great with making sure I was fully informed. She explained my baby’s x-rays to me and alleviated my anxieties. As someone that isn’t very medically-savvy, I greatly appreciated Dr. Brown’s care in answering my questions and fully explaining what she was seeing. There was a questionable mark on her x-rays, so Dr. Brown let me know my options. Dr. Brown clearly just wanted what was in the best interest of both me and my dog, so she laid out both options (staying overnight or coming back in the AM for follow up x-rays). I ultimately decided to keep my girl there over night, but at no point did I feel pressured to do so; I just felt extremely comfortable with those 3 and knew they would provide excellent care! My baby loved them (and Kelsey’s cuddles!). I called at 5 am to get updates on her 4 am x-rays and was met with a knowledgeable response and all of my questions were answered; they were able to lay out the rest of the care plan from there. My girl slept peacefully through the night, but began to sing the song of her people when Madeline showed up the following morning! When I went to pick my dog up this morning, I could hear her excitement from the front desk! Madeline came out and loved on my girl while giving me care instructions. They’re basically two peas in a pod!If you need late night or overnight emergency care for your pets, I can’t recommend this hospital enough. The technicians clearly love every patient as if they are their own, and the doctors are incredibly knowledgeable. If you get the opportunity to work with Dr. Brown, Kelsey, or Madeline, thank the universe! They are an incredible trio.
July 01 · Jennifer ShawI took my cat, O’Malley, to this vet and I have several issues. The fees this place charges is ridiculous. My baby had a heart attack and was dead on arrival when I brought him in. They attempted CPR for 15 min if that. They informed me it was most likely a heart attack or a blood clot, due to how fast he died and again he was dead on arrival. I was told by a member of the staff that they would waive the office visit fees seeing as they didn’t do much due to him already being gone. But they did NOT follow through. The CPR fee alone was $306. The office visit fee was $169. This was without cremation fees. On top of that I came back in that same day to pay for his cremation fees and was told the third party they use would have home delivery and I did not need to come back and pick him up. I decided to call the third party which was Pet Meadows to verify a time and date. And they told me that it was actually a separate fee. I’m beyond frustrated with the misinformation and severely disappointed with how outrageous the fees were when they couldn’t do anything since he had already passed. I feel as though this ER vet is taking advantage.Update: I called the Vet and spoke to Renee. He was amazing and listened intently. I appreciated him hearing me out and offering solutions to make this process easier. He was very patient and had empathy for the situation. I am super grateful for him!
May 05 · Gab RND took great care of Sparky in his greatest time of need. From emergency care last May, to aiding us giving him our farewell hugs, ND vet took great care of our family. They even sent a condolences card as a follow up. Thank you for taking care of our sweet boy!
