★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I wouldn’t trust any other Veterinary Clinic with my Doodle and Maltese. The staff is wonderful and Dr Patton is very thorough and explains diagnosis clearly. My dog actually wags his tail when Dr Patton examines him. Unlike the previous clinics I’ve used over the years, Northway Animal Hospital doesn’t over charge or push unnecessary treatment. I highly recommend Northway Animal Hospital.
December 27 · K WellsFirst time taking my doggo in, and I could not have asked for a better experience. The office is so cute with a fish tank and a punk rock bird named Shredder. They even have a place for kids to play so parents can keep vet appointments without having to find babysitters!Dr. Patton was informative, nice, personable, and easy to talk to. The front desk staff were easy to talk to, friendly, and gave my doggo some treats for being a good boy while getting his shots. My doggo loved everyone there, and even got to make a new friend with a border collie puppy.Their prices are fantastic, having come from Valley Animal Hospital it was like a night and day difference. The same treatment I paid over $400 for at VAH, I got for less than $100 from this vet.10/10, highly recommend! I am so glad I found this clinic.Update 1/11/24-Still super happy! Very informative as always and the friendly staff even remembered my dog and came to hug on him.
January 11 · Aurora JordanGood morning everyone. I need to share an experience I just had with a local vet. Dr Patton Northway Animal Hospital. I took my dog to him 6months ago for shots, heartworm test, etc. He was nice enough and seemed knowledgeable. I got an insanely expensive heartworm med. he said at the time that I could get meds mail order so long as it was an rx that he didn’t carry. Never had that happen before, but Ok. 3 months later I had to take my cat to the ER for bladder stones, because even though his office was open, he refused to see her. Again never had that happen before, but OK. The ER put her on a new prescription diet and she was fine. I had been going to petsmart to get the food, but his office is closer. So I went there with prescription in hand, and he tried to pressure me to get follow up X-rays. While trying to explain that I could not afford that he walked away mid sentence. OK! I was not rude in any way. He graciously allowed me to buy a couple cans. 3 mos later (yesterday) I called to get a rx for heartworm meds from online pharmacy. He charged me $20 to sign off on the meds. Fine! I asked if I could pay over the phone and was told that I needed to come in and sign a waiver to use the online pharmacy. 🤯 I called several other vets just to see if this was standard. They all laughed because they thought I was kidding. No lie. So, that said, I wanted to share this story. You can decide for yourself what a word to describe this guy would be. Thanks for reading this long post. If they disagree with anything I’ve said they can sue me and see how that works out for them.
June 27 · D JonesI would recommend you training your staff that answer the phones on how to handle potential emergency situations.Today, not aware of the time, called to see if my dog could be seen because I thought she was choking. The receptionist said, yeah you should bring her somewhere that is serious. Excuse me ? I was confused and I responded yes I am trying I called you. Is this an animal hospital, because maybe I called a regular vet and maybe they don’t see these kinds of things. To which they said: the doctor was on lunch, unfortunately lunch has to happen, people need to take their lunch.Firstly, I hope your crops wither, you cup never over flow, your bounty never be full, I hope you never get rest, I hope you over sleep when joy cometh in the morning and LASTLY MAY YOUR TREE NEVER AND MEAN NEVER BARE ANY FRUIT.I HOPE YOU REMEMBER ME WHEN YOURE PANICKED AND SOMEONE PLAYS IN YOUR FACE.
March 25 · Franceska WackmannI’ve been taking my babies here for 17 years. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. Dr Patton has always been great with my dogs. My chi was diagnosed with cushings and diabetes. And he has watched over her diabetes with testing every so often to make sure we are giving the right dose of insulin. She also was diagnosed with cataracts and his office worked closely with the ophthalmologist to make sure she was getting the best of care. I can always count on them to get them in even in an emergency.
