August 27 · Tania MedinaThis review is based on 4+ years of medical careDr. Molly and her staff helped us through the learning curve of having a 2 year old doberman as our 1st dog ever, Covid and a myriad of personal distrust for doctors in general. I'm so deeply grateful that I was told about her practice. I'll never see another vet....ever, let me try to explain why.It isn't just that Dr. Molly is so academically accomplished, nor that she has experience with just about every critter large or small, or that I've never had to go to a strange orthopedist or cardiologist, or that she shares her knowledge by bringing interns into her practice, or demonstrates her generosity by volunteering for free spay/neuter events and gives her time to The Rescue for PTSD, supports FFA or even that she is so gentle, kind, & understanding of human guardian quirks but still no nonsense when it comes to her patients' care. It's because at the core of it all, she and her staff put the animals' care 1st. I once asked her why she likes the surgery portion of her practice so much. She answered that it's bc surgery is when she can most directly/immediately address/fix what ails her patients. It's clear in every interaction that she is looking out for her patients 1st and foremost. This extends to the entire staff. I often overreact to everything that may be wrong with Baelin. They are always kind and patient. In the beginning I think I asked for help with nail trimming/ear cleaning a zillion times but was never made to feel bad about it. Thank you Ashley for always being so steady when I call in a panic (which is 9/10 times). Hearing what the issue is and scheduling an appointment based on the actual issue not my flustered ramblings. Jerilyn, I believe has some magic that allows her to just KNOW what's needed & when. Moises, is Baelin's favorite (even dresses like him sometimes) despite every time we see him, it involves temperature taking in the bum and generally some other unpleasant procedure. If Northwest Animal Hospital is so awesome why did it take so long to write this review? It's because they have made all the bad, scary moments manageable. It's because I feel so safe trusting them that I don't dwell on what is or could go badly due to illness. Time has just flown by. Baelin is 7 now and end of life is a real thing, especially with an off Holter reading. I'm remarkably calm about it all because I know that he has THE BEST medical team available who will give him the best care & giving me the best advice to ensure he has the highest quality of life possible. This review doesn't come close to reflecting the regard and gratitude I feel for the staff. However, I hope it helps folks understand the level of exemplary competence, kindness and dedication that is Northwest Animal Hospital.---------------------Update: Baelin now needs an injection for his arthritis. This morning was the 1st time for me to do it. I had a full on panic moment with cold sweats and shaking hands. Jerilynn was there....a calm, reassuring voice, confirming the steps and not for one moment making me feel anything but supported and capable.Additionally, Dr. Molly has traditional medical knowledge in her wheelhouse, she also has what I would equate to a human DO's breadth of knowledge so you can rest assured ypur animal is getting the best, most well rounded care available. If you're looking for a doctor...a medical team to care for your pet, who is focused on their well being over all else; if you're searching for folks who will be knid and genuine, this is the place for you.
April 17 · Houston BarnettsEveryone was very friendly and attentive. I feel that I got good quality care for my snake at a fair price. I would absolutely return to this practice and I intend to recommend it to family and friends! 😊
June 07 · cecilia cIf you’re looking for a team that takes their time and goes above and beyond to make YOU and your dog comfortable, this is the place to be. Dr. Molly and her team are incredible! My dog recently had surgery and reopened her wound. They were able to quickly squeeze us into their schedule right before closing time to make sure my dog was okay. For as busy as they are, from the doctors to the vet tech to their receptionist, they truly take their time to thoroughly examine your pet. This place is genuinely a one of a kind vet hospital and I couldn’t be more thankful for them.
June 14 · Brian NguyenI would like to take the time out to thank Northwest Animal Hospital for their support and service. Our little guy is not feeling well and Northwest Animal Hospital was able to see him quickly. I would like to give a big thanks the their front of house staff who greeted us and got us going. Thank you to the Vet Laura and Vet Tech I believe his name was Moses. I am sorry if I missed the name. Thank you guys for helping me and my family as we nurse Herbert back to great health.
