Be aware of this clinic. My family went through a really difficult time with this practice. They lost our medical records and tried to prevent us from seeing the procedure being performed on our first visit. They also overcharged (x4 the price for the same procedure compared to the nearby clinic). They also won't let you inside the building but will make you wait in your car with your pet, even though there is plenty of space by the front desk. I could tell that they do not like pets hanging in the waiting area. They also performed a bunch of procedures and vaccines that were not needed which was not even part of our appointment, which later we found out about. When my brother reached back with a question regarding this, but they blocked his phone number so we could not reach the clinic for a week. They finally replied after several weeks of attempts, sending a piece of contact information for their insurance company, and telling us to file a claim there. What kind of insurance company admits fault where they are responsible for payment? This is not acceptable, and I am working with accreditation bodies to revoke licenses for this malpractice. - Sean Miller

Features / Highlights

When considering Dr. Nancy O'Connor's practice, specific client feedback highlights several points that potential pet owners in Ohio should be aware of:

  • Operational Policies: Client reviews indicate a policy of waiting in cars with pets rather than in a traditional waiting area inside the building, even when space appears available. This suggests a specific approach to managing pet and client flow.
  • Medical Record Management: Concerns have been raised by clients regarding the loss of medical records, which can impact continuity of care and accurate treatment planning.
  • Transparency in Procedures and Billing: Some clients have reported issues with being prevented from observing procedures and significant discrepancies in billing, including charges for procedures and vaccines that were reportedly not authorized or deemed unnecessary.
  • Communication Concerns: Instances of blocked phone numbers and delayed or absent responses to inquiries have been mentioned, indicating challenges in direct communication channels.
  • Dispute Resolution Process: Clients have indicated being directed to an insurance company for claims regarding malpractice and overcharging, rather than receiving direct resolution from the clinic.

These points, derived from publicly shared customer experiences, represent key aspects of a veterinary practice's features from a user perspective. Prospective clients are encouraged to consider these elements when evaluating veterinary care options.
