Beyond impressed and so thankful! Every step of the process was easy from scheduling, communication from the staff, and transparency to any cost! My cat was able to be seen, have surgery, and back home in two days. My cat is very nervous and the staff was wonderful with him and called/text with updates during his procedure. I would give 10 stars if I could!! So happy to have found them can not recommend them enough!!

This trip to the vet was to the Ballantyne office. The staff were all very responsive and helpful. They are consistently friendly and positive. Our vet tech, Kaitlyn, went above and beyond to give me some information to find a pet sitter. Great experience and highly recommend!

Took my God-dog in to find out what was causing leg pain in his right front leg. The doctor and her assistant were so nice to him and got him to relax very quickly. Doctor explained things very well and assistant provided an estimate of costs before anything was done. Very professional and thorough. I liked that the doctor really took time to exam my dog and not rush through the exam.3/29/25. Brought him back for a 2nd visit to get his rabies and distemper vaccines. Doctor also checked his right front leg and it is doing much better. Very professional team.

I was initially impressed with Petfolk’s modern approach—but when something went wrong, the experience changed. My dog Louie suffered a serious neurological reaction after receiving Librela and a vaccine during the same visit. There was no discussion of risk, no informed consent, and I was not given the Librela Client Information Sheet, which the updated prescribing guidelines require.As I continue to press for resolution, all direct communication with Petfolk ceased. Everything was routed through an outside insurer, and Petfolk has not clarified whether their veterinarians are employees or independent contractors, or who is ultimately responsible.Even a basic refund request for the membership fee—unrelated to the insurance claim—took over a month and a half and multiple follow-ups to resolve.To this day, basic questions remain unanswered. Rather than providing clarity, Petfolk has offered only vague statements—not even a formal apology.I want to note that Dr. Seagle, a Petfolk veterinarian at this location (not the treating provider), was courteous and empathetic during the early stages of trying to understand what was happening. Her responsiveness was appreciated during a very difficult time, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients. But even with that professionalism, the broader corporate structure remains opaque and unaccountable.Petfolk’s care model may look seamless on the surface, but in my experience, transparency and responsibility quickly disappear once something goes wrong.
