The choice of a veterinary provider is a deeply personal one, requiring a balance of professional capability, comprehensive services, and a trustworthy client experience. Premier Pet Clinic, as a fixture in the Tahlequah, Oklahoma area, presents a complex picture drawn from the available public data.
What is worth choosing about Premier Pet Clinic is its extremely broad and comprehensive range of services. For owners with multiple, varied pets—from a cat or dog to a bird, rabbit, or small farm animal—the clinic provides the convenience of a single location for diverse veterinary needs. The availability of advanced diagnostics like ultrasound, modern treatments such as therapeutic laser, specialized care including pet dental care and soft tissue surgery, and proactive options like wellness packages and behavioral consultation speak to a well-equipped facility focused on high-level animal health. Furthermore, the commitment to wheelchair accessibility demonstrates an effort to serve all members of the local Oklahoma community.
However, an objective evaluation must also acknowledge serious concerns found in public feedback. While one review notes positive care for a cat, another detailed review raises severe, specific allegations regarding a client's experience. This feedback explicitly mentions an alleged overcharge for diagnostics, an allegedly impossible diagnosis of stomach cancer via X-ray alone, and, most critically, claims of unprofessional conduct, aggressive behavior (yelling, profanity, and intimidation), and disrespect from a veterinarian toward a female client. This highly negative account presents a significant counterpoint to the professional image and the range of services offered. For potential clients in Oklahoma, it is worth choosing Premier Pet Clinic for its extensive medical service list and physical accessibility, but it is crucial to exercise due diligence and consider the highly contradictory nature of the public feedback regarding the essential element of professional conduct and client-staff interaction before committing to the practice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Took my dog to see Dr Mosier because she had been throwing up food after eating for the last few days. He wanted to charge me $580 for a “sick dog” panel. I chose to do an X-ray and office visit which was $280. I wanted to verify no foreign object obstruction. On viewing the x-ray, Dr Mosier stated there was no obstruction but her stomach was thick and he diagnosed stomach cancer. He then started trying to sell me anti-nausea meds, antacids, prescription dog food. I explained I had that at home but he continued. 1 hr and 15 min of this and I stopped him and said I don’t mean to be rude but I just want to take my dog home. It’s been more expensive than I expected. You have told me my dog has cancer based off an x-ray (which we all know is not possible) I just want to go home I feel like I’m being robbed. Dr Mosier abruptly stood up and stood over me pointing his finger in my face and said you are not going to talk to me that way. I of course stood up and said excuse me you are NOT talking to me that way and get your finger out of my face. He proceeded to tell me to “get my shit and get the hell out of here”! He went to his office and slammed the door. I contemplated filing a report because his behavior was completely out of line. Before I could pay he came out of his office yelling again at me telling me “go ahead callThe cops but you’re not going to talk to me like that”. Like what? I told him I wanted to leave. I told him he couldn’t diagnose cancer on x-ray. I told him I felt like I was being robbed. We will not be back with our three dogs and I would encourage others to look elsewhere for veterinary services. Never in my life have I been so disrespected as a female. I highly doubt he would have done that if my husband were sitting beside me. He made me feel intimidated and potentially could do harm to me. He was very hot headed. April 23 · Bridget Hainzinger
- They was very good with my cat. Recommend to any one with cat.. June 29 · Christine Collins
- Three times now I have taken dogs here and felt like the prices were too much. I have had estimates between $500-900 for a procedure that another vet estimated at $150. Same with medication and visits. $60 every visit here, even for follow up, when another vet in town follows up for free. I think the work they do is good but I literally cannot afford to keep going here. March 19 · Cheyanne Olson
- We were new in town and when my dog got sick, I was able to get in for an appointment the same day! The staff was caring and the vet, Bobbi was so nice and great with our Penny Lane. We recently went back for a vaccination and had another great experience. Clean and friendly place! Would recommend to friends and family! June 17 · Shannon Chiaverini
- Dr. Musgrove and the Premier Pet Clinic staff are always kind and polite. I feel my dogs have had very good care there. They also call to check and make sure my dogs are doing well! I highly recommend! September 19 · Gena Stretch
