★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This is a place full of people with kind hearts and happy faces. Dr. Nauta has seen all of our cats except the mean one and they all love her. She listens and treats my cats like people, like I do. A good vet is like a part of your family, you can trust them to help you with important decisions and not take advantage of you in your time of need. Im glad to call Providence a part of our family. Taking the mean one in for his shots soon! I hope theyre ready for his shaved cheeks.
June 10 · Jake WaiczisThe staff at the place are rude with no compassion. A woman contacted me to bring my cat in for updated vaccines and a nail trim. When I arrived and was taken into an examination room the assistant was not friendly she didn’t show any care or concern for my pet. They had told me to give my cat gabapentin to calm him down prior to the visit, Which I did. They didn’t look at him or even speak to him. I was told that because he was “spicy” they wouldn’t be able trim his nails and because he had thrown up a couple of times they couldn’t give him the vaccine. They did offer to have the vet come out and talk to me, for $65 for a “consult “ . When I voiced the absurdity of paying $65 to speak to the vet I was told other vets charge $98.Results I gave my cat a drug and frightened him for no reason. As I left I was told 3 times that vaccines are a federal law.Stay far far away from this place. There are other vet clinics nearby that actually care about your pet. Again stay away. I can’t stress this enough!
August 23 · Nina ShieldsI had an emergency with my young puppy, and Providence Pet Hospital truly came through when I needed them most. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and efficient—exactly what you need in a stressful situation.Dr. Nauta went above and beyond to care for my puppy. They were compassionate, clear in their explanations, and made sure I understood every step of the treatment. It was such a relief to have someone so knowledgeable and caring looking after my pet.I highly recommend Providence Pet Hospital to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsive, and supportive veterinary team. They’ve definitely earned my trust and gratitude.
June 10 · Mark Hensley⚠️ Consumer Warning:🚨Before saying “yes” to any procedure here, protect yourself. Snap a photo of the estimate, run it through any AI tool, and compare those prices to other Las Vegas vets. You’ll quickly see if you’re getting a fair deal—or not.I didn’t do this until after my pet’s procedure and was shocked at how inflated some of the charges were compared to other clinics. In my opinion, some fees were padded well above the local average.Bottom line: don’t let emotion make the decision for you. Research first, compare costs, and go in with your eyes wide open. It could save you a serious amount of money! If you believe you’ve been overcharged or misled, you can file a complaint with the Nevada State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners and also with the Nevada Attorney General’s Bureau of Consumer Protection (Consumer Fraud Unit). Both agencies accept supporting documentation such as invoices, emails, and price comparisons.
August 15 · W LI called Providence Pet Hospital with concerns on care for my elderly Chihuahua. I spoke with your employee Bailey and she was courteous, helpful and super informative. She addressed every concern I had and made me feel very comfortable with my decisions going forward. Thank you Bailey! 😊
