★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We are new to the area and our baby (Cat) appeared to be feeling crappy so we called the Red Barn veterinary to get her in. Which they did get us right in… but within 4 days she was gone 😭 first appointment her liver and kidneys showed signs of distress, they gave her some fluids and an antibiotic which I will say, seemed to bring life back into her ❤️ by Sunday she was feeling so much better and Monday morning she was back to grooming herself and messing with the other cats. We had an appointment to get her more fluids and since it had been hot and she seemed to respond well to the last fluids, I decided to take her in for the treatment. WRONG decision on my part. When I picked her up the gal at the desk said she was eating and she would bring her out when she was done. Without a doubt she was lying. Didn’t know it then but when they brought her out she was motionless. I figured it was due to her “meal” so when I got her home and situated, I carefully opened her crate and placed her on the bed, she instantly began seizing, screaming, and panting (20 minutes after her supposed meal). She went from a recovering happy girl to gone within the same day. FYI Cerenia has killed so many fur babies, before giving it to another cat/dog with kidney or liver issues, research the medicine before taking another life.I wasn’t going to write this review, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. The vet we originally saw seemed very kind, she stayed in contact with me over the weekend before we took her in on Monday. She was not the vet on Monday and the staff was different as well… I believe they knew they messed up. The emergency vet Town Center was amazing, they got us right in. However it was too late, her seizures had gotten so bad there was no coming back 😭 I text our original vet from Red Barn and told her what happened and again she seemed sincere but not completely… something seemed off. I never heard from them again. We received a card and a couple calls from Town Center checking on us but not a word from the Red Barn or the vet.If I could rewind the clock and not take her in that fateful Monday, I would in a heartbeat. She is SOOOO missed 💔 as a side note. If you go to the Red Barn, I would definitely request your test results. We were charged for numerous blood tests and never given the results, unlike our previous vet. It just didn’t sit right with me, especially when they literally called me after I left the vet to tell me her results weren’t good. They had her for maybe 7 minutes before they called with her “results”. Just seemed off considering it took 2 days to get those same results a few days before… just saying BEWARE.
August 17 · TheRealDealGalDr. G and all the front end techs i've encountered have been absolutely wonderful. I am truly thankful for their compassion and problem solving skills. I've seen many vets in the past where my cats and I have just been another body to enter their office and they had no regard for life events or struggles but at Red Barn both Jameson and myself are seen as individuals and the realities of life are considered and navigated with humility and kindness. To have my voice heard in regards to my loved ones needs and my concerns means the world. Thank you so much for helping me care for my fur babies to the best of my ability.
May 13 · Jenn KirshmanWe took our cat here after an emergency visit somewhere else. We almost put our cat down, thankfully we brought her to the Red Barn and she is doing so much better. We thank all of the friendly staff for all of their help. They reach out and continue to follow up with how our cat is doing. We will stick with this vet. We are very happy with them and their services.
August 22 · Justin and Amber HydeWe love Red Barn! We take all five of our fur babies there and have been since 2017! They are kind, thorough, and always listen & address any concerns we have. Thank you to their amazing staff!
April 01 · Courtney WhiteThis is an amazing place. I have an old St Bernard and they were so gentle with him and made sure his entry in and out was easy for him. The technicians Kayla and Michaylee were so good with him and me. Michaylee took extra time with me explaining options for the inevitable though he is not there yet. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She is so good at educating and she knew all the answers to the questions I had as she had received special training. The care this place offers is amazing. I’d highly recommend their services.
