Rotterdam Veterinary Hospital Reviews
I can’t say enough good things about this vet! Not only are they available within a reasonable amount of time, but they also go out of their way to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. They’re always kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. Most importantly, they take excellent care of my cats—I truly feel like they treat them as if they were their own. I feel so lucky to have found a vet I trust this much.
Apr 18, 2025 · jodiz26Always trying to get you to buy a test or a service that you really don't need. I was not thrilled with how they administered our puppies' shots. Also tried to tell me that if I didn't bring my dog for friendly visits that he was going to turn into an aggressive dog and it would be my fault when he turned out like that. Of course he doesn't want to go there after they gouged his leg trying to give him a shot. For a new puppy, they intentionally spread out the appointments so that you have to pay a visit fee each time.I am also not happy about being required to pay a deposit to set up an appointment after I needed to reschedule an appointment due to a work conflict. I had to reschedule once. Now they want a deposit every time I book an appointment. I can see asking for a deposit if I have a balance on my account, however, treating me like a serial offender is ridiculous and uncalled for. And life happens, sometimes you need to reschedule your appointment; don't penalize people who are trying to make a living. And really? I had like 10 appointments in 2 months and I had to reschedule one.Overall, not very helpful or friendly. Not customer focused or pet focused - just trying to upsell and charge as much as they can. Moving to a different vet.
May 13, 2025 · Mary BastianI’m not a client and I’m glad I’m not. I called to get pricing on pet euthanasia services (was told $500-$600,btw). They told me they needed to do an exam even though I have the paperwork from my vet showing my dogs cancer diagnosis. I was told that they legally couldn’t euthanize my dog without doing a prior exam. Which I find hard to believe because they’re the fifth veterinary office I called today and the only people who said that.unfortunately, the 3.9 stars seems to residual ratings from years ago and doesn’t really account for the recent reviews because a lot of people are saying the same thing. The staff is uncaring, snooty, and insensitive.
Feb 07, 2025 · Angie BaptisteMy previous review was miraculously deleted.Their European dr. told me my dog had all kinds of puss and was at risk for death. After the emergency surgery the surgeon must not have known what the Dr told me. The surgeon told me she was clean as a whistle and didn't need an emergency surgery, or any surgery at all.You have a bad doctor. Disgusting profiteer. Don't go here.
Apr 05, 2025 · Chris SzadyThe reception ladies really need to be friendlier. No smile at all. As far a prices they could do better.
