- Urgent Care
Urgent care falls between emergency care and regular vet visits. This is for pet owners with a pet in non-life threatening condition, seeking urgent medical attention.

- Vaccinations
Vaccinations prevent diseases that can be passed between animals and also from animals to people. Diseases prevalent in wildlife, such as rabies and distemper, can infect unvaccinated pets. In many areas, local or state ordinances require certain vaccinations of household pets.
- Vaccination And Prevention
Vaccination offers an effective, inexpensive way to prevent a deadly disease from harming the animals in their care. These medicines are foundational to any animal health program, with the benefits extending even to public health.
- Pet Wellness
Regular Wellness Exams Are Important. Early detection reduces the severity of diseases like kidney disease, arthritis, diabetes, dental disease, obesity, and ear infection.
- Nutritional Counseling
Nutritional counseling is a great way to educate and inform pet owners about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet for their pet.
- Routine Preventative Care
In most cases, preventative care requires a routine visit to your vet to complete a wellness exam, get needed vaccinations, treat or test for potential parasites, and receive prescription medications.
- Pet's Health
Regular pet preventive care helps your vet identify your pet's particular risk factors – whether it's age, lifestyle, weight, or genetics, and quickly get on top of any problem. Early detection of disease and intervention allows you and your vet to decide the best course of care for your pet.
- Puppy And Kitten Care
At each visit, your veterinarian will weigh your pet and offer suggestions for the best type of food and treats for optimum growth and vigor. An appropriate diet is necessary for a healthy puppy or kitten and good quality pet food is important.

- Periodontal disease or Dental Care
Dental or periodontal disease affects the teeth, gums and the support structures that surround your pet's teeth. It begins with a simple plaque buildup on the tooth enamel which contain bacteria and food particles. If not addressed, it remains on the tooth surface and eventually hardens into tartar.

Salt & Sea Veterinary Hospital Reviews

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Thank you for taking an emergency visit after my dog was bit by an off-leash pitbull at the park. My sweet dog had puncture wounds in the ear and trauma to his eye and looked like he was in shock. The husband and wife team could not have been any kinder. I was extremely upset and they were very patient with me and attentive and loving to my dog. They spent a lot of time with him making sure to comfort and calm him. Very detailed discharge instructions for all of his eye and ear meds. Great follow-up as well! Very clean and beautiful facility with a spacious waiting room with comfortable leather seating and a convenient cute potty area for the dogs out front. Thank you again!!
July 11 · tina lasvegasDr. Kate and her husband are very kind people, you can tell they really care about animals as well as their owners. I got an appointment quickly for my sick poodle, we were in and out in about an hour and a half. Dr. Kate took her time to explain options and treatments for my dog and didn’t push me to do unnecessary things. The treatment we chose was finished pretty quickly and she even offered to give my dog his first dose of medicine which I really appreciated since he’s a large squirmy dog. Very happy with Salt & Sea veterinary hospital, will definitely be our go to vet in Dana Point
August 19 · Diane Cochrane-StaceyI am so glad I found Dr. Naderi to begin new care for my dog. He was calm, friendly, and thorough. Dr. Naderi took time to talk with me about my concerns, my dog's health history, and preventative options - without any pressure. I appreciate how they considered my dog's comfort, especially after a previous bad experience at a different vet, and let him stay in the room with me while the two Dr's administered the vaccines keeping him well distracted with peanut butter treats. Their calm demeanor made a difference for my large, excitable dog. I highly recommend them!
August 19 · DanielleI am so pleased to recommend "family-owned and operated" Salt & Sea Veterinary Hospital in Dana Point for your veterinary care needs. Drs. Soheil and Kateryna Naderi are not only extremely capable veterinary health practitioners, their love of animals and the local Dana Point community really shines through. Salt & Sea is the only veterinary office that my lovable but, well, somewhat picky Jack Russell terrier Augie actually looks forward to going to. When we get to the spacious and comfortably appointed lobby he leaps through the front door (properly leashed, of course!) and can't wait to hug whoever he is there to see. Honestly, it breaks your heart just a bit to see such kindness and affection exchanged between doctor and veterinary patient. If you love your pet(s) and our coastal paradise as much as I do, you should stop by Salt & Sea and get to know the Naderis and their splendid practice. They say it takes a village, and we are very fortunate to have these two fine professionals as members of our town!
August 28 · Joseph S.We love Salt & Sea! My guinea pig gets such personalized attention and they are so gentle with her. Our first visit I shared files and tests from different vets and they were able to catch and diagnose items that were previously missed by an exotics specialist, and take the time to talk through all potential options and concerns.
