Southwest Virginia Veterinary Services Reviews
We have been going to them for a couple of years now, and they have provided the best care for my animals. We recently had to put down one of our dogs, and when I tell you, they were the most compassionate and caring people through the process. It was the hardest thing we ever had to do, and I could not tell how appreciative we were for them. They made the process as easy as possible. I will be forever grateful to them. Highly recommend them.

Jun 14, 2025 · Christy BoydI honestly can’t say enough good things about SVVS. Everyone is so nice and they treat your pets like they are their own. The care you receive is amazing and you always feel like your babies are in the Best hands. Believe it or not I have never experienced this level of caring and compassion from Vets and their staff (who are as great as the Vets are)I was shocked my first time going there at the level of kindness you and your pets receive. I also appreciate the fact they encourage you to participate in their care. I love my babies and want to be educated and be able to ask questions when I don’t understand. I drive a good ways to come here and I will continue to do so because it’s so worth it.
Jun 06, 2025 · hkpenceOur dog, Ray, was extremely anxious at her vet visit, but the veterinary assistant that helped Dr. Rucker was awesome. She had Ray in a hug hold hugging her trying to calm her. It was very sweet. I really love this clinic. You can tell that they really love and care about the animals, and they really go out of their way to help you give your pet the best care possible. Definitely recommend their services to anyone in the area that needs a caring vet clinic.
