Lee Highway Animal Hospital Reviews
ALTHOUGH WARNING for whatever reason the secretary there is super rude and short if its not Dr. Gents wife. He is amazing so don't let her scare you away. I had to take my mothers dog there when she was visiting because my regular vet was closed from the snow. He was great, very thorough, thinks holistically and so far my experience is his pricing is significantly more reasonable than VCA, especially Spay and neuter for cats.
Feb 20, 2025 · katy gullettPlease don't let Daisy cut your dog's nails. She is super careless, and doesn't look at what she's doing. She cut my lab's quick, my dog yelped, and if it wasn't for me yelling at her "You're cutting the quick," she would've kept cutting. She literally didn't care. Vet is knowledgeable, but talks way too fast at you.
May 19, 2025 · Kim “Kimmy” HortonTook my dog to this vet and it was ridiculous. He's had a bad limp the dr refused to even look at it and just treat his diarrhea. He simply threw meds at him and sent us out the door didn't even check the dog at all. My dog is a great dog and deserves better than just being a number. I will never take my animals to this vet again and I will never recommend it to anyone. He didn't answer questions and basically just rushed us out the door. I'm very unimpressed and disappointed. Don't waste your money this vet isn't professional at all.
Apr 19, 2025 · Sabrina SykesLast time I was there it was to have my beloved dog laid to rest. The doc and staff are caring. Routine visits......the doc is real knowledgeable and diagnoses quickly and has the meds necessary to treat on hand. He has a beautiful property.
Jan 20, 2025 · Kate BittickI usually don’t do this, but I wanted to bring awareness to crooked behavior. My wife and I were quoted $150-200 for our dog’s teeth to be cleaned. We also paid $60 for medication the night before, so she would be sedated enough for the procedure. We were first told she would be done by 12, but then we were told that they got behind and to pick her up at 5, which is totally fine since places are busy and sometimes short staffed.Long story short they charged a pre-op fee, hospitalization fee (even though they told us 12 originally), post-op fee, and antibiotics. My wife and I were expecting to pay $250 tops, but were charged nearly $400 for the procedure and all the hidden fees.Vets and service providers should be clear on everything they charge you, or at least have the decency to call before administering things we have to pay for later. We will be taking our dogs elsewhere.
