I have had several dogs over the years. The latest one we located and adopted at The Humane Society of Weld County, a wire hair Jack Russel, miniature Dachshund mix. We had him for 13 years and was one of the best companions I ever had. My family and I enjoyed his character and constantly made us laugh. He was a great pet.We had some issues with a our then current vet and was looking for a new one. One of my customers referred me to St. Michael's. I was totally impressed with our first appointment, and was informed about some cancer. I had several visits during this time period and the Dr was straight up and honest with me, something I appreciated.I had to make that tough decision of euthanasia as I did not want to see my best friend suffer. I cannot tell you how this office and all their staff were so compassionate with myself and wife during this emotional process. This truly showed us the caring and love that this entire staff has for animals, something that we did not see or feel with other veterinary offices around town here. They are very passionate about animals care, and it shows from the moment you walk in with the big smiles and excitement of seeing your pet to the Dr checking your pet, talking to them and making them feel comfortable. It is refreshing to see. They make other veterinary offices look bad.If you are looking for a new Veterinary office, I highly recommend St. Michaels Companion Animal Hospital. - Robert Scarzello
