Stockton Animal Clinic Introduce
The **Stockton Animal Clinic**, a key local provider of **veterinary care** in the Missouri region, has a history of serving the health needs of the community’s animals. Operating as a dedicated **Veterinarian**, the clinic has been a fixture in Stockton, offering its services to both companion pets and livestock for decades. The practice positions itself as a provider of **professional service with honesty and integrity**, which is crucial for the trust-based relationships needed between a veterinarian and local Missouri clients, particularly those with essential farming operations.
The clinic is noted for its ability to cater to the diverse needs of the Stockton area, providing services for **both large and small animals**. This mixed-practice capability is invaluable in an area where agricultural operations are a core part of the local economy. They offer essential on-site services for livestock, helping to ensure the health of local farm animals. However, it is important for prospective and current clients to be aware of service feedback. Public reviews indicate instances of serious dissatisfaction, particularly concerning post-operative care and client communication following a neutering procedure. One severe review detailed a lack of pain medication, subsequent prolonged bleeding requiring emergency surgery at another clinic, and a failure to secure a refund, with the client reporting an unsatisfactory and dismissive interaction with the DVM when seeking explanation. These accounts underscore the critical importance of clients exercising diligence, confirming all pre- and post-operative instructions, and verifying protocols regarding surgical procedures and pain management when choosing a provider.
The **Stockton Animal Clinic** is conveniently located at **14975 State Hwy 39, Stockton, MO 65785, USA**. Being situated directly on State Highway 39 facilitates relatively easy access for clients from Stockton and the surrounding areas, which is especially important when transporting large animals or dealing with an emergency. The clinic is also mindful of accessibility needs. It features a **Wheelchair accessible entrance** and a **Wheelchair accessible parking lot**, ensuring that clients with mobility challenges can easily and safely bring their animals in for treatment. A **Wheelchair accessible restroom** and a general **Restroom** are available on the premises for client comfort. Due to the nature of veterinary practice, **Appointments are recommended** to help the clinic manage its schedule and provide timely care, especially given the dual nature of its large and small animal services.
As a practice that serves the agricultural sector as well as pet owners, Stockton Animal Clinic provides a broad spectrum of care. The stated offerings reflect a full-service approach necessary for a rural community.

- **Address**: 14975 State Hwy 39, Stockton, MO 65785, USA
- **Phone**: (417) 276-4210 or +1 417-276-4210
- **Planning Note**: Appointments are recommended, and it is advised to discuss expected care, particularly for surgical procedures, in detail during booking.
The **Stockton Animal Clinic** is a local Missouri resource worth considering primarily due to its essential function as a **Mixed Practice Veterinarian**, providing a critical range of services for both **Small Animals** and the **Large Animal** agricultural sector. The availability of **Farm Calls** and specialized livestock testing and supplies is an undeniable benefit for the Stockton community. However, local users must temper the benefits of its comprehensive service with awareness of reported negative service experiences. When choosing this clinic, local clients should be proactive in discussing the specifics of care, especially pain management protocols and post-operative expectations, to ensure a smooth recovery for their animals. By carefully managing communication and expectations, clients can best utilize the clinic's extensive capabilities and long-standing presence in the Missouri area.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Absolutely terrible. I took my dog to get neutered at Stockton Animal Clinic (SAC). They sent him home dripping blood and without any pain meds. He bled all night and all the next morning and the bleeding only got worse. So we called SAC and he said the he was fine and not to worry about it. We took him to Cramers the next day and they had to do an emergency surgery to re-tie him to stop the bleeding. I went back to the SAC and asked for a refund and I explained what the vet at Cramers had explained to me (that he had not been tied up well enough). And all he did was laugh at me, tell me a complete lie and tell me he could not help me. I shook his hand and left, but needless to say I will not be going back. November 13 · Alexis Roy

- I have only been here once and it was an emergency. I had a pug that was having seizures non stop. Unfortunately she was in bad shape and she had to be put to sleep. The staff here were the gentlest and most caring people. They took her very gently and even let me hold her during her last few minutes. They made a very hard time and decision much easier for me. I would highly recommend this clinic. They really care about our little furry babies. September 29 · Eddie Lee
