Sullivan Equine Veterinary Service Reviews
I've been a client of Sullivan Equine for years. From vaccinations, foals needing plasma, t-post injuries, stifle injuries to simple questions there isn't a better Field side manner out there. Each DVM on the team I've encountered has been pleasant knowledgeable and provided the best care and answers for my horses. Here's to many more years as a client! I would actually check to see if a property was in a service area before moving if it is in state!
Jun 18, 2025 · Heather LucasDr. Thrift was absolutely wonderful when I had to make the difficult decision to put my mare down. She explained everything and was very gentle. I'm very thankful for her compassion during that time.
Jul 25, 2024 · Maggie ReederThese folks are the best.in a very difficult time, they were so compassionate.afterwards we received the sweetest sympathy card signed by the entire staff.
Mar 14, 2025 · William MankinsDrs. Thrift and Sheppard have been excellent to my horses and donkeys for several years now. Dr. Thrift also did an excellent job disbudding a few goat kids for me and assisting with a few other goat issues. I've had several equine emergency calls with them and plenty of routine stuff, too. They're prompt, accessible and thorough. Dr. Thrift stayed involved when my mare had to go to NC State. She consulted with the vets there, received updates, and stayed in touch with me about the decision to ultimately let her go. I'll be forever grateful for her support during that difficult time. I highly recommend this practice.
Oct 18, 2023 · Erin WoodrumI have never been to this vet, however when my horse was in need of emergency care they did not hesitate to assist me. Unfortunately, my lovely girl passed away before they could make it out, but without knowing me or my Lady they sent me a beautiful card with their condolences. I have no doubt they are the most compassionate and caring people. I greatly appreciate the card.
