The Ranch Veterinary Hospital Introduce
For pet owners in Colorado, particularly in the Highlands Ranch area, finding a veterinary hospital that combines professional expertise with a deeply compassionate, personal touch is a top priority. The Ranch Veterinary Hospital, a locally and proudly women-owned practice, stands as a shining example of this commitment. Led by the highly regarded Dr. Longo, the hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional care for small animals, treating every pet not just as a patient, but as a cherished family member. They understand that a trip to the vet can be stressful, and their entire team works to create a welcoming, supportive, and stress-free environment for both pets and their humans.
The practice's reputation is built on a foundation of genuine care and a strong human-animal bond. This is evident in the rave reviews from clients who have experienced their warmth firsthand. One client, who had "less than thrilling experiences" at other local vets, was amazed by how the staff at The Ranch "was actually happy we were there and took an interest in my puppy." This level of personal connection is what sets this hospital apart. The team, including Dr. Longo, is known for their patience, their willingness to explain everything, and their proactive approach to pet health. They don't just treat symptoms; they invest in the overall well-being of the animal, fostering a partnership with owners that is both informative and supportive.
Dr. Longo’s expertise is a key reason for the hospital’s success. Her background in emergency medicine and her passion for dentistry and ophthalmology, among other areas, provide a solid foundation for the hospital's comprehensive services. As one devoted client mentioned, they are willing to drive 40 minutes from downtown Denver, even with the traffic, just to ensure their dog receives "top notch care." The dedication to a positive and compassionate experience is also seen in the little things, like sending a get-well-soon card and a homemade recovery pillow after a procedure, which as one review noted, truly makes a difference. The Ranch Veterinary Hospital is a place where your pet’s health and happiness are the primary concern, and the team goes the extra mile to prove it.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had a great experience. Brought our new puppy here after less than thrilling experiences at nearby vets. I felt like the whole staff here was actually happy we were there and took an interest in my puppy. Dr. Longo was helpful, patient, and seemed to genuinely care. She happily explained anything i wanted to talk through. This practice is still small and pretty new but we had a great experience here and are actually happy about our vet now!
May 24 · Sarah KarasI cannot say enough good things about Dr. Longo & her staff. They truly care about their clients & do an amazing job. Dr. Longo treated my past dog at another clinic in downtown Denver. I think so highly of her that I now drive 40 minutes to see her at her clinic down south. Knowing my dog is getting top notch care is worth the drive-even as bad as Denver traffic can be! My Murray recently had to get neutered & not only did they send him home with medication to make his recovery easier, but they also sent a get well soon card & a homemade recovery pillow & Dr. Longo called to check on him the next day. What a sweet touch! Murray loved his pillow as you can see from the pictures. I cannot recommend The Ranch Veterinary Hospital enough!
June 23 · Carolyn LuxBest veterinary visit ever! Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Longo and her caring team. My pup who is usually very nervous about vet visits was very comfortable the whole time. Dr. Longo took her time to thoroughly exam my dog and answered all my questions. This is a high quality clinic! Highly recommend to any pet parent who wants the best care for their pets. And the clinic cat was super cute :)
May 28 · Anna ForsbergWe just had the BEST first visit with Dr. Bawcum and Coral! Rex was so happy with both of them and they were thorough and friendly. SO happy to be part of the Ranch!
July 26 · Rachel ZelenakThis was hands down the best experience I have ever had with a veterinarian. Dr Longo thank you. We are so grateful we have you as Gert’s new Doctor. We know we chose the right place for our little puppy mill breeder rescue. She deserves the best care. And we believe we found the best with you and the wonderful team you have.at your facility!
