Unlike clinics that specialize in only one type of care, Thrive Pet Healthcare serves as a true pet hospital, equipped to handle a wide array of needs from a routine vaccination to an unexpected emergency. This versatility means you can establish a long-term relationship with a single, trusted provider who understands your pet's entire health history, making care more seamless and effective. This level of personalized service is invaluable.
Finally, the excellent feedback from the community, especially regarding their handling of emergencies and their reasonable pricing, speaks volumes. In a stressful situation, knowing there is a reliable, affordable, and quick option available in your area is a priceless asset. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Kind, friendly staff and a dedicated cat room. I was able to take all of my cats in at the same time, which was great. Vet listened to me and we discussed options for weight management and things to look out for.
May 09 · Samantha ConcklinI want the world to know just how much I appreciate the team at Thrive Orland Park!My 4 years pup got into a scuffle with one of our cats. The big male got her just under her eye. She was in a significant amount of pain. I called our vet of 10 years, they could not see her, called two emergency vets the wait was 5 to 7 hours. I called Thrive at 3:30pm have never been there before, I told them my story and my pup was being treated at just after 4pm.. They fix her up and she is so much more comfortable. The incredible thing is the cost to treat her was BEYOND reasonable! I WANT TO THANK YOUR TEAM SO MUCH! I believe if you will have us, you have a new client! Thank you so much!
June 10 · Mr. GDr. Miculinic was amazing. She was super attentive and took her time talking with us and addressing all our concerns. She was kind and patient and genuinely cared for our cat. The person at the front desk was also very friendly.
June 03 · Linda MaroDo not recommend this place in September of last year we brought our 12 year old female cat there she was sick . The first thing the doctor did was threaten to take her because she wasn't up to date on her shots after checking her over they said that she needed blood work done and they would take it from there they gave us a special kind of litter to collect her urine in so they could analyze it said we had three days to get the urine sample back to them. They never called with the results of the blood work I had to call them after 3 days let them know that I still did not was successful in collecting her urine they said don't worry about it they got the blood work back and said that she had stage four kidney failure and that she needed to go to a vet hospital right away for treatment they would not prescribe any medication whatsoever they said there was nothing else they would do for her. After getting the number of a few emergency pet hospitals and finding out with the next step was after telling them the blood results it was confirmed that she was in stage 4 kidney failure treatment would not guarantee curing her and it was either do the treatment which was over $4,500 or let her pass naturally they said if any symptoms occur where she wasn't drinking eating using the litter box that it would be best to put her down on day four of all this that's when we decided to put her down because she was just suffering .now with thrive what upset me was that they wouldn't give her any type of medication whatsoever they wanted to wait until those blood results came back not once did they call to see how she was doing to see if we had the operation plus also the emergency vet hospital said that she would be in there for over a week and that would be over the $4,500 cuz the $4,500 was just for medication and fast treatment to get her on medication and antibiotics and the thrive place would not give anything when he examined her he said it appear to be upper respiratory infection she was very skinny, still he wouldn't prescribe anything I was told that they don't have medication in that office in Orland Park that that's why we had to take her to the pet hospital where they could do more extensive research on her and see how to treat the stage for kidney's. Was also told from the pet hospital and I forget which one I called that even if we did have the money to do this and keep her in there for the 7 to 10 days that they said it would take ,there's no guarantee that the treatment would work and it would just prolong her life for a few months but what I'm upset with is thrive is I'm still on their email list they don't send out emails or anything saying hey why don't you bring Athena in for a check up or whatever you know or we haven't seen her since last year and the one guy that took care of us at thrive he was very supportive it was the doctor who threatened to take her away because she wasn't up to date on her shots even when I called the person who answered and said there's nothing they can do they don't have medication this is what we're telling you to do is to go to a pet hospital but what I was upset about was that they didn't reach out to see if we took her and if she was better she's gone now it's been 9 months that she's been gone and we miss her every day.
June 10 · Elaine HathawayI just took my 7-year old Pomeranian for an exam to find out if a certain thing she was doing off and on was something to worry about. Once the doctor heard what my dog was doing, she knew right away and had us watch a video to confirm it. She was right and there was nothing to be concerned about. Quick trip and quick diagnosis!
