★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been bringing my dog to Benfield Hospital for years, but after what happened yesterday, I don’t think I can trust this place anymore. I ran in right after they closed, completely panicked, because my dog had been bleeding nonstop for over three hours from a ripped nail. I was desperately trying to get a quick recommendation for something to help stop the bleeding. There were still two female employees inside. They hadn’t left yet — they saw me, heard me, and still told me, “Sorry, we’re closed. It’s after hours.” Not even a simple suggestion or basic help. Nothing. It wasn’t like I was asking for a full appointment or medical care. I was scared, stressed, and just needed guidance in the moment. For them to turn me away when they were right there, just standing behind the desk, told me everything I needed to know — they’re not in this for the animals. It’s just a paycheck. After being loyal to this hospital for so long, this experience was not only disappointing but honestly heartbreaking. It shows how a couple of cold-hearted employees can give a bad name to the entire hospital. I hope management takes a long look at what kind of staff they’re keeping around, because in a moment when compassion was needed most, I was met with complete indifference. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares for animals and their owners — I sadly can’t say this is it anymore.
May 22 · Yana E.Everyone was very helpful and good with my dogs(2). Very thorough exam even though they were VERY busy. Prices were reasonable too.
July 09 · Mary Ann TaylorMy little dog was aggressive and wouldn't let us trim him. Banfield was able to give him a safety trim. This was the first time I've been able to truly see my little guy after being buried under all that fur for so long. The staff was extremely patient and kind.
February 18 · Theresa JonesDr. Garai was amazing. Totally explaining everything we needed to know without making us feel rushed or uncomfortable asking. Jaelan welcoming, friendly and informative . Anna seemed well organized and they all seemed like team players. No long wait & decent pricing.
April 26 · Carol PhillipsI mean an appointment for 5:00 one night and brought my dog in to find the place closed. I asked a PetSmart employee where they were and got nowhere. So, I called the next day to find out what was going on and the person didn't know. I figured, that's strange, but let's get my dog seen. We rescheduled for the The next available time, which was 2 weeks out! I made it for 6:00 and they close at 7:00. I show up only to find no one there again! Complaints to Banfield are merely brushed off with a pre written, patronizing, AI generated responses... both online AND phone. Not trustworthy. Avoid this location like the plague!
