The clinic is staffed by state-licensed veterinarians and trained professionals who are committed to providing compassionate care. The entire process is designed for efficiency, from the pre-registration options to the walk-in availability during clinic hours. Vetco understands that a trip to the vet can be a source of anxiety for some pets and their owners. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1By far the worst vet experience I have ever had!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would. I HATE to pull a race card but there is no other explanation for the crude attitudes and unprofessional behavior from the veterinarian and her staff. My dog was harnessed and was wearing a Baskerville ultra muzzle(That I purchased that day from Petco), when I brought her in. She is only 45 pounds and I had her fully secured to ensure she was not unruly during her anxiousness. We checked in and the receptionist weighed her with no issues. When the veterinarian approached my dog with the needles showing, my dog barked which is to be expected due to her being anxious and afraid. The vet refused to attempt to administered the vaccines and said that my dog was not Well trained and that they were not going to give the shots. This was not my first visit to a Vetco. I had seen other dogs bite, bark, launch, etc. and the staff still serviced them. When I told the vet that "she didn't even try," Her and her staff of 4 workers became very loud, rude, and aggressive and verbally attacked my mom and I and tried to have the store manager throw us out of the store. Mind, you, my dog remained calm through the entire incident. Now there is an alert on my account saying that we cannot visit any other vetco location and my dog did not do anything wrong. SO UNACCEPTABLE!
November 25 · Brittany AllenI scheduled testing for my mom's dog and she never completed it because the vetrinarian Kate Hodson is super unprofessional and rude. My mom is a senior citizen and because my mom didn't wanna purchase the heartworm preventative from petco directly and just wanted thr prescription after the test the vet had an issue with this. Please stay away from this place. I was on a call with my mom at the time of her visit and I could hear this awful lady telling my mother she will have to leave while berating. This is completing unforgivable behavior on the vets part.
March 03 · laura pWould give 0 stars if i could. I just got my 12 week old puppy brought him in for vaccines he hadn’t received. Showed the tech the vaccine he just had 2 days prior. 5 minutes after check in they gave my puppy his vaccines later when i got home i saw my puppy had been given the exact vaccine i told them he just had 2 days before. Vet didn’t listen to me when i tried to confirm she knew he just received distemper vaccine 2 days ago, she was super dismissive and gave no information on what she was doing. I’ll never use them again. Vetco you’re very lucky puppy is okay and didn’t experience any adverse reactions do to your negligence. Don’t trust dr Kate hodson!!!!!
June 29 · nicoleWe've come to the clinic multiple times, never had an issue. This time the vet lady wasn't friendly at all. She kept shhhhhh-ing people. She covered my cat's carrier with a towel which terrified him and they were handling him with huge thick gloves - also scary for a tiny cat. My cat is a good boy but because of their treatment he hissed (he never hisses, ever). At the end they told me not to bring him back and to take him somewhere where they can give him a sedative. It was awful!
