Choosing Valencia Veterinary Center is a choice for comprehensive, advanced, and compassionate care. The glowing review from a new puppy owner, who found the staff to be "super friendly and helpful" and the services "incredibly affordable" and "same day," highlights the clinic's strengths. The ability to provide prompt, high-quality care at a reasonable price, especially for routine needs like stitch removal, makes them a practical and reliable partner. Their readiness to help a new pet owner, even while they were handling a young child, shows a real dedication to customer service.
However, it is important to acknowledge that some clients have faced challenges with communication, particularly regarding follow-up on complex cases. A review mentions issues with getting return calls and updates, which can be distressing for an owner with a suffering pet. While this suggests a potential area for improvement in their communication processes, it does not necessarily reflect on the medical expertise of the team. For routine needs, preventative care, and even many urgent situations, the center's advanced equipment, wide range of services, and generally positive feedback from the community make it a strong option. For pet owners in Santa Clarita seeking a full-service clinic with the capabilities for both everyday care and complex treatments, Valencia Veterinary Center is a facility worth considering. Their comprehensive approach to veterinary medicine provides a solid foundation for your pet’s health.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I adopted a puppy from the shelter who was spayed but needed her stitches removed, I called a few places but many were outrageously over priced or couldn't see us for several days. Valencia Vet Clinic was not only incredibly affordable but were able to see us same day. The staff was super friendly and helpful especially when I was wrangling an 18month old human baby and my 4month old German shepherd. Would definitely recommend and will be going back for all of my new puppies needs.
July 27 · Lucia RomeroThey seemed attentive when we first brought our dog in due to bloody stool. We follow their first set of instructions...no change. Take him back. Then they discover a mass. They confirm it hasn't spread to the upper part of the body...we have had to reach out to them more times to get answers, updates - always told we will get a call back. Never get the call back. Time is wasting and our dog is suffering. Maybe they don't get that these are our "kids" - we want answers, we want help, we want them to care - i cant even get a call back. I thought my kids were making it up - but i call for them - and told - someone will get back to me. I ask for guidance on how to help our dog while we wait - we will call you back....yep, still waiting.
August 28 · Chris LyleMy baby got sick. Our current Vet didn't have an opening. I was panicking because she is in her later years. I wanted someone to just fix her. I remembered that Valencia Veterinary has emergency hours.I called but there was no answer so I submitted an online request. They called me within a couple hours. They were super sweet and made an appointment for the next day. They even pulled up her previous chart from an emergency visit back in 2012.I arrived 30 minutes early so I could show them the updated vaccines. I was expecting to wait since I was super early. They immediately put us in a room!!! They were very helpful and caring. Within 11 minutes the nurse was in to take Tinkerbell back for the exam.I ended up having to leave her for fluids and treatment. The doctor didn't push any treatment or test. I chose which ones I wanted with absolutely no pressure. They said about 2 hours. The whole thing ended up taking about 2 hours 40 minutes. Which is super impressive. The price is on point. They are an amazing facility. Not the cheapest but absolutely fair and worth it.They even cleaned the rooms between clients.I can't say enough about the wonderful staff and exquisite facility. They absolutely care about the animals and people.Tinkerbell was drowsy from the treatment but recovered by that evening. She is back to normal now.
July 11 · M NightI have used VVC for 15 years. They were always good to my pets. Dr. Grewal treated my dog’s lymphoma and gifted her another 7 years of life. Now they are under new management and they are even better. I brought my cat in because she couldn’t use her back legs anymore. Doctor Yao saw my cat. I was floored by this man’s compassion, knowledge, and humbleness. This man is one in a million. He spent a long time examining my cat and explaining everything and all possible factors with such thoroughnesses and in a way that was easy to understand. Like a teacher. I am so grateful for Doctor Yao. I can say with confidence that if you have not taken your pet to see him then you have not experienced the way a veterinarian should be. This man is such a great human being. One in a million.
August 27 · Omid AeenAll of the staff at Valencia Veterinary Center truly go above and beyond for their patients. We recently went for a screening visit for the first time and felt welcomed as if I had been a long time patient. My senior dog does not look foward to vet visits, but the staff were very patient and incredibly compassionate with him. I look foward to future visits knowing my fur baby, Bombón, will be well taking care of.
