Valley Walk Animal Hospital Reviews
Alright folks, settle down, settle down! Dale here, coming to you live with a dispatch on an establishment that’s critical to my family’s infrastructure: Valley Walk Animal Hospital. My co-pilot on this adventure was Barnaby, our Basset Hound whose ears are long, but his patience is short.First off, let’s talk about the facility. The parking lot is pristine—plenty of room to maneuver the ol’ minivan without having to do a twelve-point turn. That’s a major plus. The lobby, or as I call it, the “pre-flight checklist area,” was cleaner than my garage after my wife gives me “the look.” Not a stray fur tumbleweed in sight! The restrooms? Let’s just say they were so clean you could eat a gas station hot dog off the floor, though I wouldn’t recommend it. Top-tier hygiene, A-plus.Now for the main event: the service. The folks at the front desk? Friendlier than a golden retriever at a picnic. They got us checked in faster than you can say, “Who’s a good boy?” Then we met the vet tech, who had a real knack for animal whispering. She calmed Barnaby’s nerves, which were getting more frayed than my favorite pair of jorts. Then, out came the head honcho, the big dog himself, Dr. Holtzclaw. This fella is the real deal. He didn’t just diagnose Barnaby’s little ear issue; he explained it to me in terms a guy who still uses a flip phone could understand. He’s got the “pet-side manner” down pat. He was so good, I was feline fine about the whole situation in no time! The care they gave was premium, high-octane stuff. No watered-down service here. The checkout process was smooth. They didn’t try to upsell me on a bunch of blinker fluid for Barnaby’s tail or anything. Just honest, good-quality service. The prices were fair, which is great because I’m not made of money—I’m made of bad jokes and leftover meatloaf. So, what’s the final verdict? If you’re looking for a vet, stop your yappin’ and get on down to Valley Walk. This place isn’t just good, it’s paw-some. It’s not a pet peeve; it’s a pet paradise. Tell ‘em Dale and Barnaby sent you. You’ll be glad you did. Now, who’s ready for a snack run? I’m buying!
Jun 09, 2025 · It's DadThe sweetest staff! So kind and supportive. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Holtzclaw was amazing. I definitely recommend them to anyone!
Jul 01, 2025 · Felicia MingsI took my dog to get vaccinated and because she pulled out her teeth I was really going to have her wounds checked out. I gave her some tranquilizers that they gave me and she was calm, but the doctor refused to examine her and vaccinate her because he was afraid of her.
Jun 23, 2025 · María Fernanda FigueroaDr. Holtzclaw is amazing. Really good doctor!! My cat has been going to Valley Walk Animal Hospital for about four years. Holtzclaw always does what’s in the best interest of the animal. And the staff is friendly.
Jun 11, 2025 · DelaneyDr. Tony Holtzclaw is amazing and very compassionate! We went in last week with "Tippy" a 4 day old dairy goat kid, struggling to breath. They gave us an appointment immediately! He was very thorough in checking her out and offering options for treatment. After giving her a few more days, and looking at the situation, with no improvement and determining her airway was damaged in a way it couldn't be repaired, Dr. Holtzclaw was again super when it came to time to let Tippy cross the rainbow. I'm very greatful for his willingness to work with us, and help us with a farm animal when so many vets have gone strictly to domestic pets. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone! He has heart. And he doesn't rob you blind!! He will be getting all our business in the future
