★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I Just left VCA , Joliet Location. I could not be happier. I have a 8 week old adorable Kitten, who has visited VCA twice now. First the Staff, all of them are very experienced, you can just tell how they interact, and handle the animal. They also enjoy what they do, it shows. I also wanted to write about the facility. First very cool, walking in you go left for dogs into one lobby, or right for cats, into the second lobby..Soooo smart to help keep the cats and dogs seperated. They also schedule you the right way- they dont schedule a few at the same time, and have you waiting in the lobby with other animals. They schedule you , confirm the night before, and when you walk in at your scheduled time they get you right in! Your animal will more than likely not have to interact with another pet... I feel blessed to have VCA so close to my condo.. They do things the right way.. Bryan
August 19 · Bryan (Joliet, IL)I received a call from a very ignorant worker. She was very rude to me about my care plan. When I tell you she was disrespectful and unprofessional, it was ridiculous! I’ll never take my pup back there because if you treat the customers horrible, I know you all are treating the pups horrible! I wish I would have recorded the rudeness of the woman on the phone..
July 24 · Dominique PinnickDO NOT BOOK WITH RAYMOND BISHOP. If you actually care about your pet do not! The way he spoke to me about my concerns was so disrespectful. My cat and I came in today because he has been having UTI like symptoms and I did two at home UTI tests on him which both came back positive. I told Raymond this which he proceeds to question the tests asking questions to me as if I have no idea what i'm talking about which came across very condescending. After I told him what the tests were for (UTI) he asked multiple questions to me the way you would speak to a child! He brushed off all of my concerns and told me it was all most likely because of my cats behavior which I disagreed with. This led to even more comments that made me feel like my concerns for my pet were stupid! I understand i am not a vet, i never claimed to be, I never claimed these at home tests were accurate but how can you blame me for caring for my pet? I have never left a place of business feeling so upset. I took my cat to an emergency vet after this and all of my previous concerns were proven to be true! I'm so glad I didn't listen to a word this man had to say and safe to say i will NEVER be returning here and I recommend you NEVER make an appointment with this man either!
June 06 · Mary OlsonWORST Animal Hospital!! I adopted my two month pup two weeks ago and took her to the VCA to get checked because she was wheezing, coughing, running noses. They told us, she just has a cold and to keep cleaning her nose. I took my pup yesterday to the animal hospital in Plainfield, and was told she has pneumonia!!! X-rays showed she had fluid in her lungs. Was given meds, oxygen treatment, nebulization treatment. Will never go to VCA again!
May 09 · Rebecca MunozI don’t normally write any negative reviews but have to do this one. Ray Bishop is extremely Rude. Took my Pup for her yearly vaccination and let him know her paw was bleeding and that she’s limping. He only takes a look and didn’t offer to do any x-ray on her. She’s still limping BTW and I know she’s in pain. He then asked if I brushed my dog teeth. I said I don’t but I give her Dantal bones instead. He proceeded to ask if I have any kids I said yes then he said do you tell your kid to do that too ?!? Like who talk like this as a Vet??? Very unprofessional!!!!I gave him a benefit of the doubt and decided to come here again for the second time and he would make comments how the type of dog I have got many heath issues etc.I definitely WILL NOT come back here again.Just wanted to mention all the staffs are very friendly and helpful except Ray Bishop!!!
