Choosing Dr. Steck for your veterinary needs is often a decision rooted in the desire for a local, experienced, and affordable solution, particularly for those who reside outside of major metropolitan areas and who own a variety of animals. For many Missouri residents, the practice embodies the essence of a reliable "country vet" experience.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1- Very reasonable, can do surgeries. Xray etc need to go to animal hospital. Parking is challenging, and take your GPS. Steck has terrible bed side and not real informative. Perhaps burnout, but I will still take animals there for shots. He has good system for medication of you need to pickup after open hours. October 01 · Sandi Huls
- He's a country vet. If you're expecting hospital clinic level of care for your pet then go to an animal hospital in the city. If you want affordable care, accommodating staff, expert attention for your furry friend, and you don't mind taking a scenic drive out to the country then Dr. Steck is your guy. We've used him for years for cats and dogs. All types of service and love how he runs his business. I will NEVER take my animals to another vet. NEVER. October 14 · Brian Love
- Amazing staff and care. Very knowledgeable and you can tell he just cares about the animals not just the money. When all other vets in my area wouldn't give my dog the time of day, he said bring him on in... and now my boy is back to his self. I would highly recommend him and his staff. April 19 · Christy Borum
- If you like rude people, a nasty, dirty environment, and horrible customer service, then this place is for you. Dr. Steck was extremely rude and surprisingly not very good with dogs. I won't be back. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone. Go find another place to take your animals. September 29 · Cameron Pendleton
- His office is at his home and that's exactly how the area feels, like you're right at home. The staff talk to you like you're a friend and they love your animals just as much you'd hope someone caring for them would. Very competitively priced. I took my dog here to get fixed and was able to drop him off before work and pick him up after. A great experience! April 27 · Tabatha Gray
