This article provides a comprehensive look at what makes this clinic a vital part of the Kentucky community, highlighting its range of services, its commitment to accessibility, and the profound impact it has on the lives of countless animals and their families.
The story of Veterinarians to the Rescue is one of passion and purpose. Founded by Dr. Lisa Warren, a veterinarian with over two decades of experience, the organization was born from a recognition of the financial barriers that often prevent pet owners from providing life-saving care. The clinic operates on a model that prioritizes the well-being of the animal above all else, offering reduced or, in some cases, no-cost services to other 501c3 groups and shelters. For qualifying low-income pet owners facing emergency situations, the clinic's services can be the difference between hope and heartbreak. This community-first approach has earned them a reputation for being a "blessing" and a "literal life saver" to those in their greatest moments of need, a sentiment echoed by many grateful clients.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The owner/Vet is a literal life saver, she saved our baby's life by doing an emergency surgery due to Pyometra(please please please get your animals spayed this comes on quick and kills fast) she did a 4000 surgery 250 plus a 200 after hours fee for the tech, she was quick efficient and her love of animals is so apparent. I don't want to think how things would have went if she wasn't there. She does ask you pay up front but with her doing things so cheap this is understandable. I would recommend her all day everyday.
April 12 · Kayla WilliamsThis place is a blessing! Very knowledgeable and affordable! I thought I was going to have to put my cat down when the urgent care and hospital were going to charge me thousands of dollars to treat my cat for a urinary blockage. VSP in Middletown gave me Veterinary To The Rescue number, it was a bit of a drive but definitely worth it! My baby boy is back home and feeling much better.
