★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Our dog would not be alive today if not for the caring staff at VEG. After receiving a life saving endoscopy to remove dog bedding from his stomach, he developed a GI bleed and aspiration pneumonia. The doctors worked tirelessly to save him providing him IV antibiotics, hydration, ultrasounds and most importantly allowing us to stay with him and hold him as long as we wanted to make him feel comfortable. Their transparency is like no other vet I have ever been to and the kindness they show to pets and owners is unmatched. I'm so grateful to have found VEG. They're truly the best.
August 02 · Christi CannonOur vet sent our dog Violet here to have an infected wound cleaned out and treated. We were welcomed warmly and Violet was loved and taken care of SO well. They found some complications with her that had nothing to do with the wound, but they took the time to see what was going on with her and give us information on how to follow up with what appears to be a long-term health situation. All of the doctors and nurses knew her by name and were so sweet to her. They have private rooms and humans can even stay overnight with their pets. We can be there while procedures are done, which was helpful and interesting for us. I felt very confident and relieved that they were doing good work on Violet. We were all treated with respect and compassion, for which I am very grateful.Bonus: There's a State of Mind Pizza place and Starbucks right across the street, plus other places to eat if you're there awhile.
April 09 · Karen ZackWe brought our dog Archer here when he wasn’t able to walk in the morning and collapsed. We were immediately greeted with kindness from the staff. Dr. Sparks spent many hours updating me throughout the day as we learned more information. She sat down with me every time she presented me with different options and never made me feel like I was taking up too much of her time. In fact she was supposed to leave at 7pm that night and our dog’s surgery didn’t begin until 7:45 and she stayed and worked on him until 11pm which we really appreciate. She is a very compassionate doctor and I’m glad she was our dog’s primary doctor.I also wanted to mention Dr. Hyder, the medical director, who also stayed late to assist with Archer’s surgery because it was complicated with a lot of unknowns. Dr. Hyder was the person updating us while the surgery was happening and also spent a lot of time answering our questions, again not making us feel like we were taking up too much of his time or anything even though we know he stayed past his shift for Archer. We also saw Dr. Hyder tell another pet parent their pet had passed away and I could tell he was extremely kind and compassionate towards them.I also wanted to mention Dr. Fahey, Xienna, Michelle, and so many of the other staff who worked on Archer throughout the day. We were here for 13 hours and so we saw both the day and night shift and I’m sorry I didn’t catch everyone’s name. I especially wanted to thank Tracy who came over and checked on both me and my dog multiple times, especially when I was crying. We had a return visit and were taken care of by Bailey and Margaret who were both great at explaining what was happening and including us in the process. The layout is open and you can stay with your pet the entire time which I really appreciated. They also have private rooms so if your pet needs to stay overnight then you can stay with them which is very comforting. I would not hesitate to recommend people to come here for emergencies. You will be treated with compassion and patience and can trust the staff are doing their best for your pet.
June 13 · Ayesha ZI will only ever use VEG for my fur baby emergencies. Dr. Hyder and the whole crew are absolutely amazing, and they genuinely care about your family. I can’t say enough good things about the staff here. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.
June 21 · Amanda FerronVery, very impressed with all aspects of my experience this morning with my Weimaraner Sadie. She had a red eye with some discharge and swelling. Thought it best not to wait for our vet appointment the next day. The staff and facility are amazing. Sadie is somewhat shy but she took to them immediately. Being able to stay with her is a huge plus. Many thanks to Dr. Sparks, Amy Grace, Regan and all involved. This was not a life or death emergency but if I am ever in that situation, there is no other place to trust my pets to. Turned out that Sadie had some sort of irritation which will resolve quickly with meds.
