Veterinary Emergency Group Reviews
My dog has blood in his stool and diarrhea. I called all around and came across this spot. Brittany had answered any questions on the phone and gave me recommendations for his care. I later came in and was greeted quickly. Dr. Marvin was sweet and funny, so it make me relax a bit. The staff was supportive of me being there for my dog when he was getting blood work and had to be hydrated. I would definitely be coming back if anything else were to happy to my fur baby!
Jul 04, 2025 · Monica Cortez10/10 recommend this ER for your pet! We brought our girl Nala and there wasn’t a moment we felt she wasn’t in good hands. Also, we were able to be with her every step of the way! Even when she was hospitalized, we got to stay the night with her which made us all feel so much more comfortable. Also, even though they did get pretty busy at times, they always made time if you needed anything and saw our girl immediately upon arriving! Dr. Nilles is amazing and so is the entire VEG staff. We are thankful for them being thorough, knowledgeable, and loving the whole time.We had to bring her back the same night we took her home and she ended up being transferred to NC State’s ICU but we are so overwhelmingly grateful to VEG and especially Dr. Johnson who went above and beyond to get her transferred the very same night to NC State!Thank you VEG❤️
Mar 31, 2025 · RB SharrettEverybody from the people at the front desk to the nurses and doctors were very polite, friendly and accommodating. They were very busy, but still found time and spaceto take our pup in as a walk-in. The doctors and nurses were very professional and knowledgeable and we’re upfront about all the procedures that were taking place. They presented all the options available and listed the range of probable costs. They kept us updated with status checks while our dog was at the facility. We felt like our pup was in very good hands, and indeed she was because after two days of observations and IV fluids (our pup had ingested large amount of medicine).we were able to bring her home healthy. VEG definitely saved our puppy. Highly recommend them for your emergency needs.
Feb 04, 2025 · Josh ColtonDr. Johnson, Kiersten, Shannon, Mario, Dr. Niles, and their team (I need help with all of the names), were absolutely amazing. Not only did they save our girl, they were thorough, sought consultation, made educated decisions, and most of all embraced us all like family. We owe them our gratitude and support for the rest of our days! All of them! Dr. J and Kiersten took charge right away and their team followed their lead! Even through shift changes, we were always attended to and cared for, especially Koda and myself! Her pups were fed and happy, and I trusted them all. 🐶🐾❤️
Feb 11, 2025 · Allisa MozingoThough I wish my review was able to have a different outcome I truly cannot thank VEG enough for seeing my Willow girl when no other emergency vet would. It’s because of them I got at least another 5 hours with my baby girl, and I wouldn’t have traded those what seem now short 5 hours for anything. They paid tremendous detail to my baby and offered an array of options. Down to the moment she passed peacefully snuggled in my arms (at no fault of theirs) their staff was nothing but kind, gentle, and compassionate. To add on to my gratefulness, as I was checking the mail I received the sweetest and most thoughtful card I think I ever have. It’s incredible the amount of notice in just that short time of just how much Willow and I loved each other. VEG of Cary, I am eternally grateful for you; though I hope I never have to I would race like I was on a track the 1 & 1/2 hour to you guys again & again.
