VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic is designed to make preventative veterinary services accessible and stress-free for pet owners. Unlike traditional full-service veterinary hospitals that might involve appointment fees and longer wait times for routine procedures, VIP Petcare focuses on efficient, walk-in or pre-registered clinic settings, often located within popular retail stores. This model helps to significantly reduce costs while maintaining a high standard of professional care, allowing more Ohio families to prioritize their pets' well-being without breaking the bank. From essential vaccinations to crucial preventative medications, VIP Petcare aims to simplify pet health management, ensuring your cherished companions receive the care they need to thrive.
One of the most appealing aspects of VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic is its convenient location and accessibility for residents throughout the Akron area and surrounding communities in Ohio. Situated at 790 Arlington Ridge, Akron, OH 44312, USA, the clinic is easy to reach, whether you're coming from the heart of Akron or from neighboring towns. Its placement in a retail environment, often within stores like Tractor Supply, Pet Supplies Plus, or other local pet-friendly establishments, makes it a familiar and straightforward destination. This means you can often combine your pet's health visit with other errands, saving you time and effort. While specific clinic hours may vary, the model is built around offering scheduled community clinics, making it simpler to fit into busy schedules. This strategic location ensures that quality preventative veterinary care is never too far away for Ohio pet owners.
VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic offers a focused range of essential preventative veterinary services designed to keep your dogs and cats healthy throughout their lives. The primary goal is to provide necessary, non-emergency care in an efficient and affordable manner. Here's a breakdown of the key services you can expect:
Vaccinations: This is a core service, providing essential protection against common and dangerous diseases. This includes rabies vaccines (often legally required), distemper (5-in-1 for dogs, 3-in-1 for cats), leptospirosis, Bordetella (kennel cough), and feline leukemia, among others. They offer both one-year and three-year options where applicable, adhering to state and county regulations.
Testing: Important diagnostic tests are available, such as heartworm testing to detect this serious parasitic disease, and intestinal parasite screenings to identify and treat internal worms.
Parasite Prevention: VIP Petcare provides and dispenses preventative medications for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. This is crucial for year-round protection, especially in Ohio where these parasites can be prevalent.
Microchipping: A vital service for pet safety, microchipping provides permanent identification for your pet, significantly increasing the chances of their safe return if they ever get lost. This simple procedure can be a lifesaver.
Deworming: Regular deworming for puppies and kittens, and as needed for adult pets, helps to prevent and treat common internal parasites.
Nail Trims: For routine pet maintenance, nail trims are often offered as a convenient add-on service to keep your pet comfortable and healthy.
The services are focused on preventative care, meaning they are ideal for healthy pets needing routine updates and screenings. For more complex health issues, injuries, or emergencies, a full-service veterinary hospital would be the appropriate choice.
VIP Petcare Vaccination Clinic distinguishes itself with several features and highlights that make it a preferred choice for many pet owners in Ohio:
Affordable Pricing with No Exam Fees: One of the most significant advantages is the transparent, upfront pricing and the absence of separate office visit fees. You only pay for the services your pet receives, which can lead to considerable savings compared to traditional vet visits, especially for routine vaccinations and preventative care. This direct approach to pricing helps pet parents budget more effectively for their pets' health needs.
Convenience and Accessibility: The clinic's model, often operating as community clinics within retail locations, prioritizes ease of access. While some locations offer pre-registration, the ability to simply walk in during clinic hours makes it incredibly convenient for busy individuals. This flexible approach eliminates the need for strict appointment scheduling, which can be a relief for those with unpredictable schedules.
Professional and Compassionate Staff: As highlighted by customer reviews, the staff at VIP Petcare, including the licensed veterinarians and support team, are known for their professionalism, knowledge, and friendly demeanor. They are dedicated to providing a comfortable and positive experience for both pets and their owners. This commitment to compassionate care ensures that even quick visits are handled with kindness and expertise.
Efficient Service: The streamlined process for vaccinations and basic preventive care means you can often get in and out quickly. This efficiency is highly valued by pet owners who appreciate not having to spend hours waiting for routine procedures. The focus on specific services allows for a faster, more focused approach to pet care.
Pet Parent Portal: VIP Petcare has developed an online Pet Portal to simplify pet care management. This free resource allows pet parents to keep track of their pets' detailed records, access medical history and diagnostic lab results, and easily retrieve vaccination and rabies certificates. The portal also offers automated reminders for upcoming vaccinations and allows for clinic registration with a few clicks. Soon, it will even allow for product purchases like heartworm medication and flea & tick treatments.
These features collectively contribute to a positive and practical experience for pet owners seeking dependable, cost-effective preventative care for their beloved companions.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I would give 100 stars if I could! GREAT experience. Took my 15yr old cat for a rabies shot. VIP vets are very professional and it was super organized. Easy in and out and very affordable. I also had some paperwork that needed filled out by the vet, and they did it without question and a smile on their face. I highly recommend VIP PetCare Vaccination Clinic. Only cost $44 total. If I had taken him to my regular vet it would have cost well over $100 maybe even $200BRAVO VIP!!
June 24 · Julie BlairPretty easy to use and go through. Pricing is VERY FAIR for your dogs. Didn't like 🤬the register early not and then they text EVERYONE at the same time to come in for appointments. Now you have aad rush of people and animals at the exact same time....could do it better by texting in 15/30 mins intervals 🤔
April 03 · Terrance HarrisRead.reviews online1 pm 2/22/25 Springfield pet supplies plusThe employee checking me did just that. But the two employees administering the vaccination are a LIABILITY BECAUSE THEY FAILED. Are they actually trained or wearing scrubs as a costume? The inability to properly restrain a small feline injured me and the employee, and put my cat in severe danger by being lost or harmed by dogs or let out the door and hit by a car or breaking his neck! He hanged as he fell off the table before he broke out of the slip knot.If these are trained vet techs they could handle a 1 yo cat. This is poor training or sloppy behavior. I didn't sign up to chase my cat after it HUNG ITSELF!!I took a small 1 yo feline for a booster shot. They put a harness slip knot around his neck. Upon attempting to inject the small cat flinched which a COMPETENT tech would handle but instead they let loose dropping the needle and the cat hung himself before running and hiding in the store. I was able to retrieve five isles over under the large rack shelving. The one employee just walked around saying can you open a can of catfood?" while I'm running thru the store yelling shut the doors and almost grasping the kitty as he runs past semi restrained obviously poorly trained dogs barking etc. They proceeded to use the syringe from the floor where animals shit. This is your business and you failed. If he had got out the door there would be an unsolvable problem instead of settlement.I have a deep cut in my hand and my new pants bloodstained. More importantly you failed basic restraint injuring one employee amd customer. Also my mental injury to be put into fight or flight is not for preventable nonsense. Same for my cat.
March 04 · Jeff WilliamsHorrible fly by night business. Hourly employee wear scrubs as a costume as they "assist" the vet on site. They are not trained beyond choosing what color scrubs they wear. Zero.Lawsuit coming.Look up "old woman dead vip petcare" online. They must handled a dog as untrained Ed pet care will...and an old women fell and ultimately died from their poor business plan. Sure they profit but at what cost? No training and they represent they are a veterinarian when in fact it is having a receptionist in scrubs not trained. Cos playing vet tech. Zero training.
May 22 · Digital RabbitsI recently took my labradoodle puppy in after finding out she had an ear infection from the groomer. I contacted our regular vet who wouldn’t have been able to see her for another 5 days. I took her into VIP and it was such a great experience. Both of the techs were super friendly and explained everything very Thoroughly from the costs to the care she was going to receive. The veterinarian made sure she told me everything that she found as well. They all treated my dog as if she was one of their own. They were super friendly fly and extremely helpful!! I will definitely be back in the future for any non emergent visits that I need. The prices were super affordable and they had a lot of options.
