- Friendly and Accommodating Medical Staff: One positive highlight indicates that the "vet tech was very friendly and the Doctor was as well." They were noted for answering "all our concerns" and leaving a positive "impressed" first impression. This suggests that the clinical interaction with the veterinarians and technicians can be very supportive and informative.
- Responsiveness to Concerns: The positive review points to the staff's ability to effectively address concerns, providing reassurance and information during the pet's check-up.
- Local Accessibility: As a clinic located in Walden, it offers a convenient option for pet owners in the immediate village and surrounding Orange County areas, reducing travel time for veterinary visits.
- Potential for Unprofessional Front Desk Service: A significant highlight, albeit a negative one, points to "unprofessionalism" from the front desk staff, specifically a receptionist hanging up the phone abruptly on a client seeking an appointment for a sick dog. This suggests a potential area for inconsistent customer service at the administrative level.
- Mixed Customer Experience: The contrasting reviews indicate that while the medical care providers (vet tech and doctor) can provide a positive experience, the initial point of contact (receptionist) can significantly impact overall customer perception and satisfaction.
- Established Local Presence: The clinic's address and nature suggest it has been part of the local community, serving pet owners over time.

However, prospective clients in New York should be aware of the mixed feedback regarding customer experience. Feb 13, 2025 · Ron DomenechWe went there a couple years ago and left because of unprofessionalism....we called them today to give them another try because our dog is sick, and the receptionist answered the phone, was asked for an appointment, and said "we're all booked today - CLICK" - - - SHE HUNG UP (slammed) THE PHONE ON MY WIFE. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Therefore this one star warning to the public. How would they treat our pet???
Mar 21, 2025 · LtCol JimWe have three dogs that we boarded while we went away on Vacation. The people that took care of them were awesome! Especially since my dogs have to take medication. They made sure our pets were happy and comfortable. Picking up our little friends they didn’t want to leave because they kept running back towards the building they stayed in. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back here the next time I go away. I am extremely impressed with how much care was given to them while I was away.
Aug 10, 2021 · Alex PalleschiGreat place for pet care. Been going there for almost 20 years.
