Mar 08, 2025 · Mg hYou can tell everyone here loves what they do. They take such great care of my dogs. They always make room to see my dogs for emergency visits even if they are already booked. When we walk in everyone knows my dogs and it feels like family. Also the staff works as a team. I recently was in the waiting room and witnessed them deal with an emergency and I was so impressed at how they were prepared and everyone knew what to do and played a part from the receptionist to the vet tech to the doctor.
Jun 08, 2025 · Terri Blancato HortonI have been going to the Newburgh Vet for over 20 years. They have taken excellent care of my animals. They love them like they are their own
Feb 27, 2025 · Betty LepleyMy experience at Newburgh Veterinary Hospital was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about their quality of care. Despite performing X-rays that showed no clear signs of an obstruction, the veterinarian still pushed for immediate exploratory surgery — a major and invasive procedure — without any conclusive evidence. This felt rushed and irresponsible.Additionally, the IV catheter placement left my dog with severe bruising and trauma. When I removed the bandage at home, I was genuinely shocked by the condition of his leg. It looked barbaric. There is absolutely no reason any animal should be poked to that extent, and I’ve yet to receive any real apology or accountability for it.The medical records I later received also contained multiple inaccuracies and failed to reflect what was actually discussed or observed during the visit. To make matters worse, I learned that patients are left completely unsupervised overnight. Leaving vulnerable animals alone without monitoring is unacceptable and dangerous.Between the unnecessary push for surgery, the poor catheter placement, incorrect documentation, and lack of overnight care, I have lost all trust in this facility. I hope this review encourages others to ask questions and seek second opinions — our pets deserve better.
